it was cut because they didnt have anything like it for the legion and theres already enough of a pro NCR lean and reasons to side with them. least thats my theory.

DOOM is still being modded and played, system shock 1 and 2, thief etc all older and still played. I honestly love it, there is something about the last 10 years of gaming that just hasn't immersed me like the old games do. So much more passion was put into games.

@@eazyh1050i mean i think thats mostly just cause of how little remnants of the pre war world there are in the games there’s only a couple of characters that have lived long enough to remember all that and a few terminals and notes that paint a picture of what it was like but other than that and maybe like the borous high school bit in old world blues theres not that much like straight xenophobia or McCarthyism relating to the sino-american war theres also just a surprising lack of like references to china outside of the context of the great war or operation anchorage in fo3 in general like we really have no idea what the chinese wasteland is like and outside of like the chinese submarine people from san francisco and a few unrelated characters we like barely see anyone with chinese sympathies which is kind of unfortunate itd be kinda cool to see a faction thats like the enclave but for post war chinese pseudo government

Just releasing them in to the world after saving them seems lame, you're right, and besides teaching them how to survive, finding them a new home would have been cool, something like Primm, Goodsprings, Boulder, Westside, Nellis or Novac

@@lorddervish212quinterosara6 I would had made those available options, although knowing the ending of Novac, Nellis and Goodsprings would be the most viable (good) options. Nellis could have had a conversation where you convince the Boomers to let them in, after all, they came from the same vault, in the long run they'll be completely safe, since Nellis is untouchable, and not completely useless, since you taught them how to fight or leave it to the Boomers themselves to teach them. Goodsprings is good, plenty of room and food in stock, besides the occasional Radscorpion, they're good. Primm, Boulder, Westside and Novac I see as neutral options imo, survival can go either way. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I'd doubt it, at least in the fallout world, if raiders can work together fine enough, im sure thier less crazy (for chems atleast) cousins should fair better

@@dimsum3329in the original games they could but there were also literal sex slaves in some raider camps that are beaten up and look depressed, so I'm not sure. Considering IRL genders are separated in prison I'd imagine they decided to go that route for "realism"

theres a bunch of mods that try to reintegrate as much of the cut content as possible and even try to cut on loading screens by reimplementing old parts of the map in the main game world its crazy

viva New Vegas project put alot of them back in. it's technically a modpack that fixes and improve the gameplay by alot.

They're on the Xbox but cut from the PC version for some reason.

surprisingly a lot of cut content was specifically on the xbox 360 version of the game!! and were just removed in updates later after release to make performance better so if you have the original 360 release and never updated it you’re likely to have a bunch of content most pc players have never seen!! (without mods ofc)

They're NCPs so I'd imagine pathing issues. Watching a tumbleweed get stuck and trying to find it's way out wouldn't be very immersive lol.

Was I hallucinating? I also remember Pacer's dialogue popping up and telling me about Freeside. I didn't run any mods that restored cut content to my knowledge. (Mohave Music Radio extended, Anti-Crash plugin, Daily Vendor restock mod)
