15 Most RIDICULOUS Moments In Tennis History.. From ridiculous Tennis trickshots, to Novak Djokovic imitations, to tennis invasions, these are the 15 Most RIDICULOUS Moments In Tennis History. #tennis #djokovic #federer #nadal
It is SO AWESOME that the narrator told us in advance what Stefi's response was going to be. Really added to the quality of the product. Would not have gotten the joke otherwise.
This is why RU-vid is so stupid. The only people who know it was a gimmick for a commercial are the people who already know it. Everyone else is going to think that's real and before you know it, it's a fact. I miss journalism and newspapers and libraries and books. I was a child before the internet, and a teenager when it came into existence and I can tell you 100% the world was a better place without it. Maybe not as efficient or connected, but it was better.
@@user-wo5ii3he6sall of this rant for this tennis moment? Also, no the world probably wasn’t better without internet, you just have to learn how to use it well to not become a mess of a person. Like for example, if I find some information and it’s actually important (not like this tennis moment), I do investigate the source and everything. Internet allowed us many things we never thought possible, It powers education and economy. It supports our health and well-being. And it connects us to our neighbors and to those we love, basically it makes our life much easier, which means less stress, who doesn’t want that? As long as you don’t get addicted to the internet… You gotta see the bright things instead of the bad things y’ know?
The top one for me is where a couple in a house next to the court were sleeping with each other, and moaning like crazy. After a little while, when the whole arena is just embarrassed and laughing awkwardly at it, one of the players goes "Oh come on! It can't be that good!"
I’m at the beginning of the video hoping you’ll reveal by the end of it #15 was a TV commercial. Edit: you didn’t… 🤷🏻♂️ and Roddick impersonating Rafa was in an exhibition match, not offensive at all. Clueless lol
You never saw young Steffi in real life. She was drop dead gorgeous. Tall, long-legged, athletic, shapely, perfect posture, tan, blonde, with a nice smile.....she was like a new improved human.....just stunning.
Last (bonus) video: Cuevas correctly got the point, because they were playing singles but the net posts are in the doubles' position. If the ball had hit the singles' sticks (the inside ones) in this instance or if the net posts were in the singles' position, then the point would have been good for Garin.
@@arkadiy8367 If a ball hits the net outside the singles stick, it is dead and the point is over. but if it hits the net in exactly the same spot, AND THERE IS NO SINGLES STICK IN POSITION, then it bounces on to the court, the ball is in play.
so what's the ruling when the ball gets embedded into the clay? Would it be an ace? But technically, it did not bounce yet (it did not touch the ground twice), so is is it still in play? (and the 2nd player would have to wait for eternity (or till the next earthquake) when it jumps off the ground and then he has to play it?
As a tennis umpire, i can tell you that you are wrong regarding the bonus moment.. The serve went in, the ball hit the net post and got in to cuevas' side. Hitting the net post is considered illegal because the net post is a permanent fixture according to the rules and the decision is correct giving cuevas the point. Know the rules :-)
No, the TOP of the net post in doubles (the wire and the pulley) is considered part of the net, except on a serve. Had this happened on a doubles point, it would have counted, but because there were singles sticks, the ball was out.
@@TennisSmash-bj2uw the one who hits the umpire is Shapovalov of Canada, and "pro tennis player" laughing with the racket broken is Paire. You need to research more, sorry
Last bonus one: the empire made the right call. That part of the net the ball struck is not officially part of the singles court. On a true singles cour the ball would be out, hence it is false
Why no Safin at the French Open pulling his shorts (but not boxers), down after a long, epic point he won, then had taken away for pulling his shorts down to his thighs… two ridiculous parts.
In this case, he had every right to be annoyed. It was an over-rule that should never have been made on a big point. Even the wimbledon crowd cheered him. Everyone in the crowd knew he was right. The line callers were not pros back them. They would sometimes ask spectators to call the lines! They were playing for big money. Someone had to start complaining. Intimidating umpires became part fo the game.....
Come on Ivanišević has to Be on at least 2 places - when he broke all of his reckets during the Match so he did not have any reckets left so he Had to conceed THE Match :p
I don’t remember that one with Roddick, wow! He showed me his iPhone back before Apple had even announced that they were going to make and sell them. I knew then that his little pocket-sized computer was going to completely change humanity if it ever reached the public’s hands. And it did!
@@natehubbard5062 Back in my corporate jet days I flew Andy Roddick and his brother in a corporate jet from Texas up to the Davis Cup. He left his iPhone aboard the aircraft. I grabbed it and chased him down in the FBO. Knowing that it was, at that time, an unusual looking cell phone, I joked with him that the only person I prank phone called from his phone list was John McEnroe. Apple hadn’t yet publicly announced that they were even going to make the iPhone, however, like many products, celebrities and athletes get this stuff long before the general public. I asked him about his unusual cell phone. He gave me a quick demo of all that it could do (which was completely unlike anything at the time). I knew that it was a “game changer” of a gadget. And indeed it was.
2:31 "During a double match": wouldn't it pay to know the slightest thing about tennis before scripting such a video? (Let alone confusing ads and charity events for actual competitive matches... sigh...)
Situation between Zivojinovic and Mcnroe. And Monika Seleš has been attacked on the court by one spectator..Finally the biggest rivaly is between Novak and Nadal and Novak and Roger. Not subscribe 😉
This is a joke right? You have have a tennis channel and think the Roddick serve was real? You call John Isner JOSH Isner... and you pronounce his last name incorrectly? I'm only 3 highlights in. Get outta here. Downvoted and never subbed.
A lot of daft comments and many of the players' names pronounced incorrectly. Also, why do commentators feel the need to explain to you what you are about to see before you see it? It is patronising and pointless, but mostly annoying. A good reason not to subscribe, unfortunately.
The video about Andy Roddick's serve stuck in the clay is a fake. It's just a TV commercial. The soil surface, the ball, ..., everything is set up for the special effect. If you ever play tennis on the clay, you know it's not going to happen in real life, even your speed is 1000 mile per hour. Please don't circulate the fake anymore.
