Ill take a little hype for Light No Fire. Enjoyed Nms so consolidating it to what seams to be just 1 procedurally generated earth sounds doable with their formula.

I also hope that one day they will implement this technology in No Man's Sky, so every planet can be super unique and interesting.

It probably shows my age but when I heard the Sega announcements, especially with Golden Axe, wow!! It reminded me of a time long gone, some 30 years ago, going out with my friends to the arcades, pockets full of coins and having a blast. It was a hard time for a lot of families, but for us kids, while we stayed there, the time stopped and we forgot about everything.

NMS was a bunch o amateurs who barelly knew what to do 10 years ago... Now, we are dealing with folks that turn that horrible launch into a rising phoenix, so i do believe in the experince that HG guys have today.

no man's sky lets you turn off pvp in the settings, which most players do, so i suspect it will be a returning feature. it's a good user experience feature for an open world game.

He seens goofy and all but frankly what he showed in the trailer is mostly stuff that you can do in NMS, so i would take this time more seriously, after all, Hello Games has 10 years of experince in their back now with NMS and 4x times more people working on their studio. Anyway, No Man's Sky today isn't the NMS of 10 years ago... just saying...

@@efxnews4776it will probably end up working out. But hello games and Sean himself really can’t say anything at this point without everyone having a heavy dose of skepticism. No mans sky had an absolutely mind blowingly messed up launch compared to what was promised. Makes the cyberpunk mess look minor in comparison. Hopefully though he can actually live up to the hype this time and not screw it up. I think that was part of why he was so awkward on stage. Trying not to say anything too crazy.

Anyone hyped for simple game announcements may be suffering from dementia or any typa memory loss related illness..as for over 10 years straight we get hyped then are let down 95% of the time😂 You have nintendo absolutely abusing and milking mario n zelda to the grave while negecting pokemon dk n kirby, giving them the leftover shards of strength from dev teams..nex gen ps5 is mirroring the film scene in the late 2000s to 2020s..non stop back to back to back superhero bullshit games..thr hero arc, villain arc, origin story no different than how South Park roasted dcu. Best selling game remains cod yet everyone talks down..well cant be that bad to do better than the rest sadly n its as generic as they get. If it aint From soft or a dev team that does not miss, which is like 3 dev names in total, i dont care.

I quite liked it at launch (I suspect I had less bugs than the average) for the setting, characters and performances, despite it's glaring flaws. It's wasn't (and still isn't) really an RPG, more of an ARPG in a decent suit, but with all the patches it's now a well-tailored suit. Or a tuxedo, if you get the DLC. The main games story is decent, but nothing to write home about; the DLC is fantastic, though! It's well worth a fresh playthrough for sure.

I played it at launch (on pc so I never really had too many problems) and then replayed it like a year later. I replayed it again on the release of phantom liberty and holy shit, it's like an entirely different, much better game. phantom liberty itself was prolly my favorite 30/40ish hours of any videogame all year. you absolutely won't regret it if you liked it at launch (and especially if you're a fan of cyberpunk 2020/red)

Worth it for Phantom Liberty alone. All new updates are just the icing on top.

You should absolutely do it, especially if you already enjoyed the game. I always thought it didn't truly deserved all the hate it got on release, but I'm glad they finally got to a point where even the critics are admitting it's now an incredible game, and personally, it's now one of my favorites.

No one thinks a game with an endless number of worlds is good. It's ALWAYS going to be shallow and people are now realizing that with Starfield.

Yeah, I hope they carry over fantasy versions of the tech in NMS, like the terra forming tool, you could make a giant cave system and build your base inside it for maximum protection, oooor, you could make giant mountains that hide your base, it could have a secret entrance or something. It'll also be awesome to have wars and battles with other players, looked like some players had staffs so possibly magic in-game too

@@dangerflyi played both games so i will tell you the difference about both games. Starfield sucks, because the endless content not only isn't endless, but it is very shallow, and when i say shallow, i really mean it, as shallow, worst than that is that the game only start to kcik off after some 8 hours, and then the contente start to get repetitive around 20 hours once you start to cross with the same outpost for the second time, IN YOUR SECOND PLANET, around the 40 hours players would be pushing to finish the game, and they won't even bother with the NG+ content. This doesn't happen like this in NMS, the game set you up in the first hour or so, in the 10 hour you most like ly would be engaging in some interesting activity, and when it gets to the point where you start to really see the same POIs as you see before you most likely would be well of in 50 hours of gameplay and at this point you are to much invested in the game to bother with this, you would burn out around 200 hours, maybe 300 hours, and depending on how you go about the game you could still have things to do in the game. Since NMS is and endless game, and things you do in your game would go to database for all other players to see is safe to say that your goal in the game isn't discover everything and do more than everyone, is simply document your OWN experience in the universe, you are just another traveler, a drop of water in a vast ocean creating some ripples that will interact with other riples... The experience in NMS is very different than Starfield, Starfield is shallow, it is just a game, and thats it, NMS is more spiritual, is more about the journey, is about find just the right spot, and meditate about the existence, telemon!

@@SozioTheRogue i don't even bother to make caves or build mountains in NMS, you can find awesome caves to build your base or dig your base into mountains in NMS, but i do believe that HG wouldn't abandoned tthe voxel tech in this game, it would most likely be at least an advanced feature.

Hopefully they learned a ton of lessons but ambition can be a finicky thing. Never played NMS but i've watched the progress. I wish em luck!

@@manashieldmedia i tell you this, what Sean presented in this trailer is well on the bondaries of what they are capable to do in NMS, FEW THINGS need better clarification, it is the "no boundaries" and "planet" that Sean talked about. Is it really a full planet that we can circunvent if you start traveling in on direction? Or is just an endless tile that stretch forever in all directions rendering only what is necessary to the player? This is something that bothers me, on one hand if it is a planet, that would be amazing and would incentivize folks to find other folks, on the other hand, this approch could cause a lot of problems for server and the quality of the game would drop a lot... is there would be a single player mode like NMS, so players can fall back to if the game got to overcrowded? If it is a no boundaries approch with infinite open world map, then the game would work with seeds? I think i prefer the planet approch with a single player as an option.

Yeah. I know it's Twitter but I've seen very little interest in it and that's really disappointing. It's the only game that really piqued my interest out of all the reveals.

Too cartunish for the premise, the art style reminds me of The Clone Wars, but at the same time it looks very generic... time will tell if this one would be good or not.

i really hope it is not a create your own thing, a grounded well written character is just so much better, it always works, in witcher games and basically any story game that follows this formula of amazing characters.

it does look like a new witcher symbol, if there's a new school then the create-a-witcher makes sense

I agree. I can see why people love the Witcher, but never played the game. Wow, it would be cool to possibly create your own Witcher character. And play in that world.
