I did contract work with those paramilitary security firms who work with the military overseas, it was surprisingly laid back and I basically served as an emergency medic if anyone was hurt in combat. The pay & travel was outstanding, and the medical team was outstanding, it was a trauma nurse (me), 2 surgeons, a CRNA and an ICU nurse/CCRN very experienced in wound care & was also trained as a perfusionist. It was good times for me, being prior military, having a job where I didn’t have to sit still, I got to see alot. I Plan on doing it again beginning of next year, I recommend anyone that’s young adventurous and in shape try it atleast once.

Hello Wendy, i wanted to ask if ever I wanted to work from home (or temporarily abroad), would informatics or utilization review be ok? Or would you recommend something else? Coz I wanted to have this surgery in Korea, involving the legs so I might stay longer than usual because of the rehabilitation, so I was thinking of a specialty that will allow me to work far, at least just for that specific time period. Oh, also can a hemodialysis nurse transition into informatics or UR? because that’s where I am currently at right now 😅 Thank you so much in advance Wendy 💚💙❤️

Not necessarily, there are companies that hire ADN nurses. I remember I had seen one recently that were accepting diploma nurses. These positions can be harder to find but definitely out there if you research. And no, I don’t remember which job postings they were exactly
