Nobody says, "G'day mates". It's "G'day mate" (singular) addressed to one person. If you're addressing more than one, it's "G'day guys" or "Hi guys". Seems like a small thing, but you'll stick out a mile if you get it wrong 😅

I have to say this is one of the worst travel videos of Australia I have seen. In the intro, the image shown for Perth (Western Australia) is actually the Gold Coast in Queensland. You won’t see kangaroos everywhere. In fact you will rarely see them unless you go to a zoo. And the video loaded with stereotypes and cliches. Overall it is very superficial, and not an ultimate guide it purports to be.

You will see kangaroos if you travel outside of major urban areas, away from over developed tourist centres and get off interstate highways.Just use common sense., if you want to see unique Aussie flora and fauna travel to rural Australia.

I can remember when you did not get mass tourism to Australia. because most of the population could not afford long haul flights there. but since that not the case anymore. what about the footprint of all these tourists are having on the planet is immense and also have ruined the culture of these countries. the west have a lot to answer for. when I say the culture of Australia I mean the indigenous people the aborigines which the Europeans have destroyed
