Hello Aluxers, every Wednesday we'll be taking a look at a different industry to see what we can learn. Which industry should we cover next week? Industries we did so far: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zdbM4NSvL30.html GUCCI: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c3SGeHNSJTg.html PRADA: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1paxxwOI9VE.html LOUIS VUITTON: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0XHO5WKXGak.html
Manufacturing would be interesting. I dont think luxury products are luxury based on third world labor. It's like Armani making its clothing in China. Making Armani just a brand. No disrespect, but American/Italian fashion made products in China, is no longer respectable.
as an aspiring fashion designer myself i found this one to barely skim the surface. i think you guys could do another couple of these and talk about whats goes into collections shows etc. nitty gritty.
Greg Pitts also Gucci and the like should give à chance to fat and unactrative people ! Government should pass à laws to outlaw the hiring of too beautiful women or m'en as it is unfair to most régular people !
i like your quote (words): 4:55 "Good style will never go out of fashion no matter the current." ... It reminds me of Yves Saint Laurent's famous fashion quote: "Fashion fade style is eternal."
Thanks for publishing this video, there is a lot I have learned about fashion, not all you in this content. What about 15 things to know about the models struggles, challenge Success and failure?
The Bitcoin market is home to endless financial opportunities, if you are not focused you will get sucked in crowd thinking, but thanks to expert Mrs Tessy for is contribution in the crypto space without her a lot of us will be lost in a day trading.
I would rather buy 1dress instead of 15, 16 which will be of the best quality. Moreover I think every job or every place have demands. Its the same with fashion industry I think people should take healthy models neither fat nor skinny.
please do more of this subject matter. there are many of us out here who need some of the insight that you could possibly dig up. you do industry days i think you guys can go deeper and do labels...such as Balmain..that would bring tons of views. I'll email you guys.
Human right issues are a huge thing that can but the industry down. They pay a closer look to enviromental issues, which is a good thing also, but not so much for human rights. Lately they have started to pay attention to this topic. Thank God.
Heidi Leinonen human right - the standard of living is not the same all around the world. If you live in china you probably gonna thing that working for a dollars à day is not so bad Since the cost of living is really low. Lot of thing that vidéo said is somehow true but Since they dont put in perspective it cannot be considèr real and honest informations.
The Fashion industry is a good business because of woman, every weekend women go to the malls and shops to buy clothes, shoes, cosmetics and perfumes. Women are very conscious about their looks.
If jeans are being sold with holes already in them, why get rid of them? I've had some last a decade or so. Especially if you get them intact with out holes and were them until it's natural.
Elsa B évén if you copyright à design it would be too costly and times consuming to enforce it legally. The only things they can really protect it the usés of their name label.
I remember watchin' this documentary on American Icons. James Dean and Marilyn Monroe were two of the few people. Anyway, one of the narrators said Marilyn Monroe and James Dean were never fashion icons, 'they jus' took whatever they thought looked good on them and made it work.
Most of the fashion industry (especially big labels) only let models that have a healthy BMI work for them. In some countries it's illegal to use an underweight model to model. Some models do not eat, and barely drink water 24hr before modelling in a fashion parade. Because they don't want to look bloated or puffy. The models that died were modelling before the healthy BMI was introduced in Europe.
Something for discussion on point six, are we guilty for the labor conditions in which these clothes are made? Are the designers and managers guilty? Or the governments of such countries who do nothing to improve their living conditions.
9:41 stop saying gig is a SUPERMODEL. she is not!! totally is not!!!! she's not even a top model. Some say she doesn't even deserve to be a model! it's not her "thing". sorry not hate, but that's the fact, right!! and give respect to other's opinion!! we have different opinions!!!
How are you gonna talk about no racial diversity and play a clip with diverse models? I think runway shows are becoming more diverse right now with many brands showing Blacks, Spanish and Asians. But with that said there are some fashion houses that only use white models.
