Graham did not hire Buffet, because Buffet was not jewish. and not the other way around. Why would a jewish (Graham) not hire another jewish ? Graham wanted only jewish people to work in his firm due to the hard time they had to find jobs in wall street. He obviously became more open minded and hired Buffet afterwards.

Dear Alux.com, on Thing No.2, you guys have it wrong. You guys say Graham refused to hire him because he was Jewish, implying that Buffet was Jewish (which he's not). In fact, Graham didn't hire him because he WASN'T Jewish, he felt at the time that there weren't opportunities for Jewish investors on Wall Street so he needed to only hire Jews.
Correct me if am wrong, but my understanding is he did work for Benjamin Graham for quite a few years and in fact he named his son after Benjamin Graham when he made graham his sons middle name.

I won't simply go for his techniques in investment.. cuz he won't ever tell me those. and I belive he is naturally the best investor. And he is quiet lucky there, but the think i would ask him is that what would he do if most of his investments went is loss for some time.. how would he regain that.
