Hello Aluxers, have you ever flown first or business class? Protect yourself online: www.alux.com/vpn If you wanna level up like the super rich, get the app: www.alux.com/app
Hello Aluxers and Alux, well everything that is said in this video is true, I work for airline myself and travel like no one, definitely once you travel business or first class believe me you will never want to fly economy class ever again.
I agree with Tyrhys. The perfect follow-up to this video is '15 Things You Learn When You Fly In A Luxury Private Jet'. I wonder if you could do this as a collab with @EnesYilmazer or is his presentation format too different from ALUX? It might be worth trying.
I assume that’s what they’re considering/talking about or thinking. Maybe more important ppl generally or more often fly internationally. Just pay attention to the video. Ijs.
I flew business class with Singapore Airlines from LAX to Tokyo. 10 years ago I was broke and could barely keep the lights on. I used to watch RU-vidr videos of people flying in business class and told myself one day that would be me. I enjoyed every moment of being in the business class lounge and having a sky bed. Now I am going again this year for my second business class trip with SIA. I used to fly premium economy but now that I’ve had a sky bed, I may never go back 😁
My first overseas business class flight took place this past January, Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia, 16 hours on a United Airlines dreamliner. I loved the lie flat seats at a push of a button, the hot towels, warm nuts, and the ability to request both dessert choices at the end of dinner. Also, the storage space and large screen IFE were amazing.
If you fly a lot of first class you need to run the numbers and see if you can actually afford to be on a fractional ownership of a private jet. You'd be surprised. The lack of waiting for everyone else to get on the plane and find their seats when flying private is amazing. If your time is money remember you're spending it waiting for everyone else. The airline first class lounges are pretty cool and it's true I've met some celebs in there. Key point - if you do meet someone famous keep the converstion related to their work and stay away from personal topics and they will generally engage. Another key point - trying to get a first class upgrade at the airport is just a game and kind of fun. Dress for the part because the ticket agents have a lot of discretion. My leveling up story has to do with starting out in life as an aircraft mechanic, going back to school, and working my way up through management in the Aerospace business to point of being the guy in the suit riding in the corporate jet rather than the guy working on it. I don't how to describe the irony.

I loved my experiences in first class. When possible I fly private. It would be great if you share a video on how average people can participate in private jet clubs. thanks, ALUX. I love this channel.
The first time I flew first class was when I was working for an airline and had incredible flight benefits… I flew Delta from the USA to London and it was amazing, and it really opened my eyes to a new life. The journey itself really was an experience in itself and I was actually sad to see it end. I flew first class and business class many times after that until I moved overseas and it was brutal returning to economy haha but now I know what I want to work towards! 🤩
I’ll never forget my first experience with first class. Swiss Air to London for my birthday. Also once you get a taste of it & it’s from speaking of experience you’ll find ways to do it again & again. Especially on long-haul flights & special occasions it’s worth it.
Best thing we ever did was taking Air France first class from Paris to New Orleans. It was the end of a week in Europe and the thought of dealing with check in at Charles de Gaulle was overwhelming. The service was impeccable. The food delicious. And the comfort level amazing. First class on US carriers doesn’t compare. If you can afford only one direction, always take first class home. You are excited going but coming home is where you need some pampering.
My first Business Class flight was amazing! It was with British Airways and I was upgraded for free. I was flying from London to Denver. I had seared lamb for dinner, LAMB! The salad was amazing and I had three choices of each course to choose from. There were three choices for breakfast also. The libations were all premium. I loved being able to comfortably sleep and watch a movie laying down. It was an incredible experience.
When I was a child my parents would fly us first class. So when I became an adult, and now a founder/CEO of my own company. I had to do it because I know I have earned it. I enjoy the special treatment you receive from the crew. I also fly private sometimes as well. And that’s another level in itself. It just feels great!
Yes, the Concorde was first class entirely and completely. Air France and British Airways were the only two airlines who purchased and fly the Concorde. The aircraft was used mainly by wealthy rich passengers and famous celebrities who could afford to pay the high price, in exchange for the aircraft's speed(it was the fastest passengers aircraft ever, it was purely supersonic) and luxury service, to get to their destination faster than any regular comercial jet. At a supersonic speed, it used to take passengers for example from London to New York in five hours instead of nine. Some super wealthy Concorde flyers used to fly between London or Paris to New York, for business or pleasure, and get back home the same exact day. For example, Phil collins amazed the whole world back in 1985, Saturday, July 13th, playing drums for Live Aid at Wembley stadium in the morning, and then flying five hours later across the Atlantic with the British Airways Concorde, to play drums again the same day for Live Aid at the JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, PA, in first class and pure luxury. The whole world saw him doing that live via satellite on MTV(Music Television) back then. At JFK stadium in Philadelphia,PA, people saw him playing drums in the morning live in London on the JFK stadium’s big screens, and five hours later he showed up at the JFK stadium to play drums, and at Wembley stadium in London, people saw him playing drums live in Philadelphia,PA on Wembley stadium’s big screens. Phil Collins did that world record thanks to the Concorde. The reason why the Concorde was so extremely expensive( more than any regular airline carrier) was the huge cost of fuel(it was required a ton of fuel per seat/weight) plus a ton of fuel to fly at a supersonic speed. After the tragic Air France Concorde deadly accident back in July, 25 2000, both companies retired and grounded their Concorde jets for good and forever.
This is so true, flew business class for the first time , and lounge access was amazing delicious buffet an assortment of drinks. I got a chance to shower and sleep for bit before boarding. and slept even more in between the gourmet meals that were served. I touched down feeling very relaxed. I don't see myself fly economy anymore so I currently looking for economic opportunities to will allow me afford business class everytime...
I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again
@alnordgate494The adviser I'm in touch with is ' Jayden Nadav Bishopson" He works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else. for me his strategy works hence my result. he provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.
Yes... aaand no! Very much depends on the airline. Being UK based, I fly mostly BA and have had the full range of experiences with them in Business Class from superb to downright miserable, sometimes due to factors outside their control, but often due to the individual crew. Priority Pass and similar are the reason why the airport lounge experience is now more akin to a buffet breakfast in a budget chain hotel. By the way, we don't do the clapping thing in Europe. Well, maybe on Ryanair....
I would love to fly first class or business class again someday. My first time flying first class was when I was 11. My parents and I had missed our flight from Manchester, NH to Orlando, FL, so the airline put us in a limo and drove us down to BOS to catch the next flight. We were upgraded to first class to make up for the inconvenience. The first leg of the flight, I was sat next to a lovely old man who told me how he made his money by buying land in California before it was worth anything. He told me about cool things like being able to take his wife to Paris for the weekend on their anniversary. The next leg of the flight I was sat next to Larry Naston, the NASCAR announcer. I had no idea who he was, but I loved his story about flying in an F-16. At the end of the flight he gave me a signed photo. The funny thing is, to me at that age these were just people with jobs-it never occurred to me to ask them how they got their jobs or how much money they make to be able to fly in first class. They were just cool people who were willing to talk to a fifth grade girl on her way to Disney World. I’ve met lots of other cool people in coach, like the guy who owns his own squirrel suit adventure company, but I can’t seem to strike up conversations with people as easily when I’m traveling with my husband in coach. Middle class mores tend to make people tight-lipped and scared of “stranger danger”; in first and business you all know you’re PLU.
I love flying first class. There is a ton of room, the seats are comfortable, and the food is great. It’s an upgraded experience. The next goal is to fly private. 😊
I flew in first class before, only because I was the last one to board and sat down in the first seat. I didn’t know and the flight attendant didn’t ask… They were definitely friendly, I received a blanket,a fancy drink and had leg room! I believe it was Delta Airlines… nothing crazy but I can’t wait to afford first class I’d love some steak for a longer flight. The Goal is to fly to Dubai first class🎉because why would I fly there any other way💁🏽♀️thanks for another amazing video! +1
That’s strange they wouldn’t know that you were not to be in first class because usually they have your name on a list so they can call you by your last name and have your meals that you ordered such as gluten-free or vegetarian. . I experienced that with Delta flying overseas. If you were in a different seat, then they would know or a different class.
Heavenly Father I pray that you keep the person reading this alive, safe healthy and financially blessed Amen ✌🏾✌🏾... And you will never lose a loved one🖤
It depends on the airline company. You will be disappointed in business or first class for most of the North American air companies. Some European companies are bad as well, so there is no "special" experience. The food is not good and limited in options, too much processed food and canned beverages. Some air companies don't have access to a special lounge area in the airports. Probably private would be better for those who can afford it.
I took First Class on American Airlines to Orlando Florida last year for Mother’s Day. It was my first time on a plane and to Florida. I loved it so much. I’d fly first class all time.
Thanks alux i have been traveling only in economy class from last 15 years, i got once upgraded to business class with Qatar Airways that was the only experience in business class but my next flight is going to first class i know 😊
I am 28 years old and literally the day you uploaded this video I had my first business flight from CDMX to Istanbul. Everything here is completely true, I got to talk with the Latin American General Manager of one of the most known brands in the world, had 3 times (appetizer, main, dessert) meals twice during a 13 hours flight and all the beverages I would ask for. I’ve had access to Priority Pass for a long time but I have never seen the benefits of it in any Airport. Can you please expand on that?
everything said is true. but as someone who flies first class, its not worth it to save up for and to try "once" if its not for you stay away and stay in your lane. wait until you know you can fly first class every time, otherwise you'll never wanna fly economy again. happened to me the first time and now im stuck.
Me and my husband normally fly business class with delta. But when we had little babies that traveled well. We strategically flew first class. And let me tell that woman was soooo helpful, she almost fed me while I was taking care of my baby.
❤My dad suggested I return to grad school via 1st class. It was the holidays. He said I deserved and earned it. I was on a fellowship. The caveat was to not tell my mom. She never knew.
@@luisdetomaso867 You have a roof over your head and prolly had a meal or two today. What did you do to deserve it? Let's not ruin other people's blessings.
I have only flown economy twice, never experienced business or first class before. But i strongly believe this is a sign, that business and first class flights for me would soon become a norm.
I’ve been flying United’s Polaris first class for five years now. After the pandemic ended, the first class experience has gone way down. The flight attendants are rushed, the food isn’t great, and it doesn’t seem to have that personal touch any longer. Still better than coach on long flights, though 😁
So much of this video is true. My first business class flight was ORD-EZE (paid in cash on a discounted fare), and first international first flight was SFO-NRT (paid with miles). Both on United. Amazing experiences, and the video is right: it doesn't change who you are as a person or make you better than anyone else. But when it's your first time it's like 11 straight hours of feeling awesome. Over the years I got even more spoiled and realized the service in US based airlines is nothing in comparison to what you get on Emirates or Singapore Airlines 🤣
@@Blessed_11.11 Singapore as an airline. Their business class product is much better than the first class offered from any US-based airline. I've never had the opportunity to fly first class with them though
First time... Air Canada... first few flights as pandemic started... I became addicted to it shortly after, lol... had several chances to upgrade to it for vacation, and it was interesting that the FA recognized me for my return flight and asked if I was on a business trip Now, it becomes much harder as everyone is flying again 😅 the tickets are way too expensive
I should have done it when I was making more money and flying to LA for quick weekend trips I thought it would've been too indulgent +1 . I'm definitely not missing out next time I get the chance though.
Bitcoin price has not been doing really well lately in-fact the whole stock market, buying the dip isn't a tough call and it's a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. The good thing about the space is that you can buy the dips and put them into active trades, while confidently waiting for a pump in price because it is inevitable. Most people do not understand how the space work. Charts won't guarantee what an asset is going to do. Prices is going up and down and despite that the market has been profitable to me. I've always played safe implementing trades with insights and signals from a pro trader
I can’t focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 3yrs ,you see I’ve got a good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profits has been stalling, does it mean this unstable market doesn’t provide any calculated risky opportunities to make profits?
There are a lot of strategies to make tongue wetting profits especially in a down market but such sophisticated trades can only be carried out by proper market experts.
That’s true , I’ve been getting assisted by Jessica Katherine Ellis for almost a year now , I started out less than $200k and I’m just $19,000 short of half a million in profits.
She trade for me too. My first investment with expert Jessica Katherine Ellis gave me a profit of over $25,000 and ever since then I keep trading with her no losses
As some one who first experienced 1st class international service on multiple worldwide carriers before the age of 30 - this pampered experience has spoiled me for life. Now when I’m sitting in Economy or even Comfort Plus, I know where’s a world of champagne, metal cutlery, and fuzzy padded slippers behind the aisle curtain. 😅
Flying first class was amazing for me. I don't want the flight to end. I feel like I have my own personal flight attendant. The line checking was none existent . The economy line was crowed with 50 people ahead of you. I love the luxury of the lounge in every airport. I also love the privacy that you get. No screaming babies or being squeeze by a FAT passenger that should pay for fucking 2 seats. Love all the free drinks and wine. I should say that now that I'm financially stable, I will never fly economy again. I will tolerate Southwest but no more Spirit , Frontier , and Allegiance.
My first time in Business Class was with Lufthansa. I had paid for the upgrade at the airport. It was wonderful! We had a dedicated flight attendant. I have flown business the last few trips I've taken. I never want to go back to cattle class.
+1 My journey is definitely a complex one alright! I love every bit of it. Definitely, when I'm traveling and learn to do this stuff even if I'm broke.
Even when I started to make money, I still take economy class. 2 reasons. If you forget what its like to be uncomfortable, you will stop progressing. And the middle class is going away and when they call first class boarding, you get a lot of hate and stares.
Sounds like you live to please other people my friend, or you are just looking for an excuse to be cheap when you have the money to enjoy your hard work. Flying First class does the reverse for me. It makes a female business woman, more focused to keep progressing. If you have a girlfriend of wife, I hope that you are not cheap with her too. Money and wealth are there to buy and access those things that make us HAPPIER. If you do not make her HAPPIER with the money you work so hard for, she will soon find another man who will adore and shower her with happy experiences like First Class travel. I am a woman and we HATE cheap and stingy men 🤣😅😂
I can’t wait, flying is so terrible with my disability & having a service dog. Honestly I’m going to be paying extra for it, just because I cannot physically make it through a cheap flight. Like if I’m gonna be having panic attacks on an airplane, I’m gonna make it the most tolerable I can because my panic attacks do not stop me 💪 My energy is too valuable to me, and more of it is taken to just exist than someone without my things
It’s my biggest issue and I’m working on it so much Because I am going to be a self made billionaire, and I’m minimizing mistakes. I’m in it for the long game
It was on Emirates and I bought the upgrade at the airport.. it was life changing. I made sure that I was always able to fly at least business class whenever I fly across the ocean. I loved it and I’ll never forget it.💯
Hello alux. Superb video as always. But why there is no podcasts. Why?? When you are going to upload podcasts on Spotify?? Please add i am suffering cause i am not listing the the podcast. Thanks ❤
We are retired and travel internationally about 4 times a year. Our travel is business for overseas and first for domestic. The amenities, food and surroundings are worth every penny and being away the budget crowd is worth its weight in gold. As impoverished millionaires, we have to pay for our tickets.
I had the opportunity to be bumped to business class back in 2003 when I flew to Paris from SFO with my mom. Even though I had the opportunity to get bumped myself and my mom even suggested that I do it, my sense of responsibility (both of my parents are Deaf and I was the “free” interpreter for the trip) took over and I said no to the opportunity because my mom said no. I tried to talk her into it but she used the excuses of “School just ended (my mom was a High School teacher at one of the Deaf Schools), I’m tired and I’ve never heard of Business Class.” Needless to say the moment we passed through First class and Business class she knew that saying no was the wrong choice. The only justice I got was that she sat to some French guy in coach that slept most of the way to Paris and had bad breath.
+1 My first time was on Virgin Atlantic NWK- London over 20 years ago and now only travel Business or First. Even on domestic flights. The mindset shift of the experience transcends the flight and then applies to everything in life. Only 5 star hotels and top restaurants ever since
My only fist class experience was I was coming home from the military, 2nd leg of my flight. The agent at the counter changed my seat and I was protesting, asked why he did that. “Don’t worry” he said, “You will like that seat”. He was right and it won’t be my last first class flight.
It's absolutely worth it on long haul flights. Anything over 2 hours, spend the dollars, especially flying to Europe. You board in the evening and wake up fresh to greet your destination.
First I would like to ask which airlines with all of these luxury first class amenities are you talking about? Because delta airlines doesn’t have anything this nice. I fly first class and people from Coach class come through to go to the potty room. Maybe it’s just here in the U.S. awful. I only experienced drinks and boarding early.
This may be true if you're flying internationally, but if you're just on a domestic short-hop flight then first class is nothing like the description in this video.
30+ years ago, I got to an AA gate quite a bit early and overheard the gate agent talking with an undercover air marshall that was to be on the flight. They apparently knew I knew - and somehow that got me an upgrade to first class. I was quite young and it was definitely an experience for me to savor and look back on as I worked hard to be able to enjoy first class again for myself.
Neet story but I struggle to spend that kind of money out of habit. I've got to where I can easily afford it, but I have not learned how to spend. Is there a class "Introl To The Multi-Millionaires Life 101" I can take?
They should switch the chairs like that to the second class also not just the first class because there is not enough leg room and it should be the same
My first business class was absolute luxury long haul Singapore Airlines. That became standard for business travelling. Then I travelled first class intially a free upgrade long haul Emirates and it was just another step up - making one see business in a different way.
I am happy to say that, at 35, I am finally flying business class for the first time in February. I will definitely celebrate well my first luxury flight experience. If you want something, keep going without losing sight of your goals. The possibilities are limitless!
First class is great but flying private is even better and if you think you are spoiled by first class then you will feel like royalty in a private jet.
Flew first class on American Airlines in 1985. It was from John Wayne Airport to Honolulu. It was amazing. My food was served on fine China. I had a menu. I drank Crown Royal and ate macadamia nuts for 6 hours. Got a warm lemon scented wash cloth before we landed. It was so great. I’ll never forget sitting across the aisle from a woman ( about 60) wearing a fur coat and had a Diamond wedding ring and that stone was as big as a dime. And yeah you’re right. Every flight since then in coach has been uncomfortable and a burden.
I was not sure where my gate was and I was late for my connecting flight. I saw a flight attendant and I rudely said “ Hey how do I get to this gate and show her my boarding pass” She said “first of all, good afternoon, how are you doing?” and then she helped me out. Little that I knew, she was the flight attendant for that flight. I apologized and I told her that I was very embarrassed for being rude… 5 minutes before the plane took off, she said “Hey do you want yo move to first class?” and Iwas treated like royalty.
Beware Not all 1st class experiences are the same... It varies from airline to airline.. US Carriers are not so great but still better than flying in steerage.
I am ready for the journey +1, No I never experience first class but this year I will we have many destinations to visit and will be traveling first class.
This has to be satirical, right?? I completely understand the pleasures of experiencing luxury and comfort, even small ones. And if you can afford it, and couldnt care less about the environment, then go ahead and enjoy! But, the mindset pushed in this video is frankly ridiculous. "[Flying first class] is a measure of the person you are becoming"! How shallow. "You are now someone worthy of preferential treatment because of your value" 1:10 Holy f--- is this deluded. Yes, your money defines your value as a person. Good lesson. "You'll be surrounded by interesting people" As if the poor commoners sitting 20ft back can't be just as interesting. Everybody's got a story. This is sickening.
