I agree the “concrete” wall hangings were probably a reinforced plaster. Those would be fun to dupe and it looks like many of your subscribers are looking forward to you duping those. To be honest, I wasn’t in love with them (or much of any of the trending items, but the roses, oh the roses were gorgeous ♥️♥️♥️) but then I’m so Cottage 😊 and probably always will be; although the botanicals may grow on me lol, guess they could be considered somewhat cottagey too, at least they wouldn’t look too out of place for cottage core.
Skinny aged-brass or black candle holders have been a trend in wedding decor for almost 10 years. I worked for a coordinator in the San Francisco Bay area from 2013- 2018 and we used them constantly. And we weren't the only ones doing it, not by a longshot.
I just watched your “dupes” video and LOVED it. Going to attempt to recreate the coasters, wall pockets, and all the glass projects. Thank you for the instructions! (You are so right on the faux roses; the ones you bought are beautiful!)
I would love to see you dup the plant imprinted on the plaster. I’m wondering if you could use a stamp and paper clay after it dries out using a bit of water color paint for the depth of the plants? Just a thought may have to try it myself! Thanks for the new trends video!

Just listening and watching as you go “step-by-step” through each project that you share, definitely, encourages and uplifts us to express ourselves in our lives. Magnolia is a wonderful way to spend the day, with family and friends and children can play, throw bean bags, picnic. Magnolia Bakery is just SCRUMPTIOUS, and now the Magnolia Table is AWESOME.
I love how you take the time to do your DIY's. On some other channels, it's like they're in a race, and they do a half-assed job! Your projects are done so they look like quality pieces. I wholeheartedly appreciate that and you!

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to mimic brass finishes using paint or other mediums. Any suggestions? Maybe you could do a tutorial on that one day?
Did you see my new video? I tried. However, there is nothing like real brass. When you can find real brass at the thrift store, get it! It is usually reasonably priced.

I love baskets as a decor. For many months I was buying them as a decor for my house. I planted flowers for my deck in them, I hang them with faux flowers in my living room. The big ones my daughter is using to hold toys for kids. Great idea!

I have always followed my own style, but as you say " no man is an island" I love to use my style when I sew, craft and create, but I do love to see what everyone else is doing! I am on a very tight budget as I have kidney disease, and thats why I love your channel, you show us we can have a lovely stylish home that is loved and comfortable but doesn't cost a fortune!
I love the botanicals. So the large wall hanging or the tea towel dupes would be great. I also love wooden things. A dupe of the a wood vase would be nice. Yep, that's quite a challenge.
The wall pockets remind me of one my grandmother used to hang in her home. A dupe of that which I could recreate would be a perfect additional my home.
Can't wait to see how you 'dupe' items next week - wrapped jars? Baskets hanging on walls? Textural wall art? Pressed flower plaques? Huge cutting boards? Faux flowers galore?? Wood vases? I made a trip to Waco several years ago…a lot has changed! I was there over Christmas and really enjoyed the trees around the Silos and in shop. My favorite part of Magnolia was the garden store at the back of the lot. I could have happily lived in it lol. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
I'd love to see a dupe of the last two plaques. They remind me of the plaster of paris plaques that were so popular in the early '70s. I remember my Mom and Godmother plaques in the "workroom" of my Godmother's house, Fish, Mermaids, Fruits and Vegetables etc. LOL They'd use unbent paperclips to create a "hook" for hanging. I would LOVE to see a dupe of the art ceiling hanging that had a stick with what looks like pompous grass. Sooo beautiful!! And would love to hang that above a table with some lighting in it 😊 You create such beautiful home decor!!
I love watching your videos. You show us so many different ways to save money and still decorate our homes to the style we love. Looks like we all agree on duping the concrete wall hangings, although concrete would truly be so heavy and dangerous to hang on a wall, perhaps a softer material like clay would work maybe even on a smaller scale. I loved going to Waco went for a week, when we lived in San Antonio, TX. We now live in TN. Loved watching Fixed upper with Chip and Jo. So the silos were a must before we moved from TX.
Love the wall pockets and pressed flower hangings. I think the jar with the plant would be a simple dupe. You could recycle a glass food jar. I also think the wooden domino would be simple to recreate!

I loved seeing those big glass jars but I had always worried that they would look out of place with farmhouse! Well, not anymore! I especially loved the big jar that had the dried grasses..thought that was beautiful!

Loved seeing all these trends for 2021! The best part...I still use many of these items already, such as brass and lots of baskets. I would like to see a dup for the imprinted coasters or a dried floral framed. Thanks for taking me to all these shops I've been dying to see!

Discovering your channel a month ago was a godsend! I’m selling my home to move near by daughter and grandchildren in Michigan and have been watching your videos over and over again to get ideas for my new home. Everything you do looks so beautiful! I agree with many of your viewers who want to see the “concrete” wall hangings recreated. But, I absolutely LOVE wall pockets, so would love to see a dupe of those and maybe (?!?!?!) the roses 😬.
