Dogs have pads on their feets. We don't. You can't just compare the burdens of humans to those of dogs as if we are the same creatures. Also, dogs have enough fur to cover the majority of their body. We humans get sunburned even though we cover most of our skin with clothing, and all it takes is a couple hours in the sun. Unless you own a bald dog and you live in the Sahara Desert, you do not have to worry about your dog getting sun burned. My first dog died of liver cancer. Does that mean that we fed him radiation and alcohol his whole life? No. Though these factors may increase the risk of developing these cancers, they did not directly cause it. Your dog did not get skin cancer because of over-exposure to the sun.

Well I have a more mild OCD that doesn't come with the intense fear of germs. (I am scared of germs but I'm kinda selective about the source of germs I'm concerned about) My OCD is mainly just the damn intrusive thoughts that never want to shut the hell up. (that and a habit of rereading everything I type like 10 times.) So I have a dog, three actually and I used the ball chucker once at a friend's house and it's so nice not having to to touch the tennis ball once it becomes a dirty slimy mess. The dog gets to continue having fun and I get to keep my hands off the tennis ball, everybody wins.

If you had a large area and a active dog you could perhaps use the tosser

Yes, i had a pet rock too, he refused to eat for so long, i had to take him to the vet where he got diagnosed with cancer. We had to put him to sleep. I missed him so bad that i had him stuffed and put him on my shelf. He looks the same but we cant have as much fun together as we used to :(((

+ApexPenguin I never minded picking up my dog's slobbery toys with my bare hands. It's the sign of a dedicated dog owner to not be grossed out and instead just appreciate the fun. Also, if it gets harder to throw, you can always carry a wash cloth or something to wipe it off with. Either that or you're doing something wrong.

Oricale Turrent It does seem to be pretty useful. To avoid the smell of wet dog or something throughout the house. I just find it strange putting perfume on dogs. You'll first have to make sure the dog likes the smell before using it.

What ?? You walk your dog only when the weather is nice ?! I get that you have a hyper dog and use the threadmill as an additional way to tire it but not instead of a walk ! If you have a different dog then a chihuahua (or any of these small dogs) you should always take it for a walk, they need to go outside even if the weather is bad, it's not a problem for most dogs and if it is - just make the walk shorter/quicker. Of course that doesn't mean that small dogs don't need walks too, just not as big walks as the other breeds and if the weather is bad there's appropriate clothing for those cases ;)

i am very sorry about your cat i hope he or she is doing well. my cat loves going outside but it is kinda dangerous for the cat if you leave them outside to fend for themselves so i think she would love that, i actually think it's a great invention.

hioeo i had one of those grass things, for a period of time i lived in an infested area we had fleas, for half year instead of calling the exterminator every 2 weeks n using quimicals in my dog pills/advance every month i bough one of grass things plus i had 2 jobs so i wasnt really lazy to walk the dog i just didnt have to much time n my dog couldnt hold it for 10-14 hours daily.

theecupcakegirl I don't know what type of life style you have, but i have to get up at 6 am and i come home at 3:30 from school, then i have to cock myself something to eat, and eat it (4,30 PM) then i have to study for the next day, so i'm really sorry if sometimes i don't have the enrgy to go running 2 hours in the winter. And i don't even have a dog but i can sympatize with the someone who has it and it's in my situation or worse, i know people who come home an 7 or 8 pm every day.
