Nice. I really like saws on XPS; I have Bard's Craft to thank, for that tidbit. On EVA, I'm really loving the pliers thing, as well as the short, staccato scissors cuts. The video I put out, earlier, toady, makes extensive use of both; quite satisfying
Thanks! And it's so simple. I highly recommend it. EVA is great, in general, but some things are just brilliant, such as the cliff wall and the stacked rock texture. If you give it a go, I'd love to see some pics, or a whole video Anybody reading this, go check out Pocket Tee Crafts' YT chan (and also buy some Cantrip Coffee!)
That sounds great! I suggest, both in bang for the buck and texture wise, Harbor Freight. Their 4-packs of the floor mat are nice to work with, and only about $0.50 sq/ft. If you want to see some great ideas for what to with the edge "puzzle pieces", make sure to check out the "sean counley" YT chan; he does great stuff, using the "weird" bits as multi-level platform supports. Check out his lava field vid, to see what I mean.
I’m pretty new to crafting and have so far only been using XPS insulation foam, but the techniques and results you show with EVA foam really do make me want to give it a try
Nice! I love to inspire builders. XPS is great, but sometimes other options are easier to find, cheaper, more durable, or just fit the crafter's style better. I enjoy showing alternatives. I'm glad you liked it
