What this lady is saying is something that Millionaires have said on so many levels, you don't need to attend school for so many hours a day and have nothing left to do for your own interest. @@nakkoe8161 not necessarily if you are in Dar ul Harb/Dar ul Kufr (the UK for example) according to some jurists. This is because a Harbi's wealth is not protected and therefore a Muslim can benefit from it e.g. interest
@SassySam lol, that is not Islam. What I meant was the Madhab, e.g. Hanafi Jurists have argued that because it is Dar ul Harb, the wealth of the Kuffar is not protected. This doesn't mean that others are "wrong", nor does it mean it's based upon feelings like you are proposing

@@SamuelLeeds it is not my point of view it is what Islam says without the modern twist which is the total opposite- read my previous comment it explains why mortgage is not allowed even if is your 1st property you cannot pay interest because it is first property doesn’t matter if the sold out scholers say it is permissible. It is clear what Islam says about interest
