“Strong Alone, Stronger Together” We followed the World 1500m champion Josh Kerr before his British Championships appearance in the 800m as he prepares to challenge for the Olympic 1500m title in Paris. 🎥 The Distance Project
Agreed! Josh is an amazing athlete for sure but he doesn’t have as many accomplishments as Jakob and I personally believe his level of over confidence and even arrogance over and over in his posts on instagram telling everyone each day that he has proven himself as the best in the world and that at this point he only races himself (essentially saying that nobody else is at his level) it’s really just way too cocky for my liking to say something like that it’s really just disrespectful to Jakob IMO. Jakob has multiple WC gold, an Olympic gold, 3 world records andso many European titles almost hard to count them. I just really don’t think his level of arrogance matches how many accomplishments josh Kerr has so far. Like I almost wish that I could hope for his success because he’s definitely very impressive. His 2 mile indoor world record at eight minutes even was extremely impressive so I definitely respect the accomplishments that he has but he’s just way too cocky. For example Jakob ran 7:54 2 mile so obviously he has the ability to break Kerr indoor time as well. Jakob is just better and more accomplished and sometimes he can be cocky too but I don’t think he is as arrogant as Josh
Josh is a loyal dude. He's also the stuff of nightmares if your name starts with 'Jacob'. Seeing Josh run in ABQ in that heat, at that elevation, he's sharp as a knife.
Jakob has beaten Kerr in nearly all encounters including when Kerr set his pb in Tokyo. He was able to just go and win the 5k when he blipped and Kerr pipped him. When Jakob is on full form it’s not a contest. Kerr is of course very good but quite the talker after a single win by a whisker, he may end up looking silly.
@@greenpenguin3154that’s not an accurate overall picture. He pipped Jakob in the worlds when Jakob was also doing the 5K. He narrowly beat him in eugene when Jakob had missed the entire winter season with injury. Jakob has won all other numerous encounters. Jakob won in Tokyo when Kerr set his still current pb. Kerr avoids Jakob with good reason. Wait and see. Hopefully Kerr will actually turn up to some events beyond the Olympics.
Why does everyone call Josh 'Juan' behind the scenes? Anyone know who Juan's vocal coach is, he's Scottish right? Then why does he sound like a yank? Speaking from one's throat to try to deepen one's voice just sounds stupid.
