This year between the infrastructure we have built on the homestead and the logs we have brought in for future infrastructure there is a lot of maintenance to do to insure all the work wasn't for nothing. When homesteading there is never a dull moment.

that weather looks amazing that chainsaw made quick work of those logs, thats a heck of a work out in its self too

Hi Wes, I have never seen that done to logs before. I learned something today. I noticed that you got your wife on camera. Did you have to convince her or did she just give up? Stay safe...

I think she just gave up, lol. It was funny, I kept moving the camera and she would move to get her face out of the shot.

We were sealing the ends of the logs in order to help keep the ends from drying quicker than the rest which results in the ends of the logs splitting
