This sounds weird, but I find your videos so relaxing to watch. You're just such a good driver its nice to sit back and watch the car be used to its full potential.
Car: Toyota 7 Race Car '70 Engine: Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98 Brakes: Audi R8 Race Car '01 Transmission: Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 Circuit: Circuit de Le Sarthe
The car actually handle pretty good at "stock", I remember being surprised at how good it was. It's too bad on gt4 anything fwd with 400 ish hp is practically undrivable due to massive wheelspin, even with qualifying tyres. And I'm not talking about understeer wheelspin, it just turned into a burnout machine
So practice the throttle and try a different setup, usually every car has they setup for stock spec so if you upgrade the car and still use the same setup you will have bad results.
matizu Actually I just test stuff, and yeah apparently it's not that bad. _Except_ 1st gear off the line, you really have to take it real easy I guess I was using keyboard that time, because I tried using both controller and keyboard and while controller is somewhat manageable, keyboard is just impossible also not a whole lot of ff cars can actually reach 400hp so what I mean would be max upgrade
@@LazloRTR yeah i mean im a racing driver and at least we never use the first gear, just for starting the car, so if you are using the 1st gear in a race you are not going to have the best acceleration without spinning the wheels leaving a corner, take in mind you are racing a 400HP FWD car
anything with 400 FWD HP is practically impossible to drive without wheelspin in real life too theres a reason they dont make cars like that. its just realism.
Too much understeer, if you haven't already: stiffen up springs at the back to neutralize it. You'll go much faster. Otherwise jack up the downforce or change tyres to a harder type on the back to create oversteer. For FF drives, the trick is to create a front/back imbalance that will help the back turn earlier to straighten the car. That Civic will fly. At the front, jack up your negative camber to a -3.0/3.5. Make your dampers softer on compression at front to reduce lock. Jack up the slip differential or install one if you can: jack it up to 20/25 at the front for the acceleration phase. This will tackle wheel spin at corner exit. Then, soften stabilizers a little bit, car looks bumpy and prone to lose composure during hard braking. Also, raise height a little bit at the front, this will give your front a little more room to breathe and give you much more traction. Front should be higher than back to promote weight transfer during acceleration and braking. Limit power to 490/500 bhp. Change gear ratio according to circuit, to calibrate properly you should aim for last gear at red line on the longest straight. @@DS007sn good point, I incorrectly assumed that since it's a Civic it was FWD! Well if it's 4WD slip differential is a given and stiffening springs at the back is even more helpful, since they have active traction :)
You’re right, I made a car similar to this in forza and was having similar issue with the car, but I followed your setup and it helped me get rid of the understeer and the car is much easier to drive. Thanks dude
Things this game need is more cars on the grid and races of endurance with weather change only. The other things have to be the same. Cars, menu, ost... all the same. And multiplayer of course.
God damn, i drive a sedan version of '98 Civic. Same front look, same aftermarket headlights. Not nearly the same power though. I doubt this is based on real-life Civic unless it was heavily turbo boosted. Dunno, never played games on consoles. Am only here cause of '98 Civic, hehe.
Damn, haven't been on this channel for a year or two and you're still making great content! I made a request about a year ago and I wonder if you still do hybrid requests?
HYBRiD Request: Car: Peugeot 206 Rally Car '99 Engine: Suzuki ESCUDO Pikes Peak '98 Brake: Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II '04 Chassis: Bentley Speed 8 Transmission: Audi Le Mans quattro '03 Track: Circuit de Sarthe (no chicanes) also this may sound like the devil car named Assoluto Squaldon from Rage Racer, a racing game made by Namco, the 3rd Ridge Racer game.
and the game being made on a computer doesnt mean it would work on one, gran turismo games are known for pushing the playstation to its limits and that can only be done by really tailoring the game to run well on the PS hardware, and that's a feat
GT4 had that on the PS2. Do you mean on a modern controller? In that case, remap the accelerate and brake to the triggers - we've gone backwards in terms of face buttons sin the PS2 since they are no longer analogue.
Hybrid Mazda 787B (black and hyperspeed codes): Engine:succ Transmision:stonks Chassis:helth Brakes:hacc Suspension:kek You did that with the stock, stuck, stick hybrid video
I never seen this car, probably because I havnt play the game in years due to the fact that my ps2 cant play it still, its working but its stuck everytime I finish a race, keep in mind that I was racing with no music either lol.
Pretty good, btw the settings on the description are the only changed? I also play GT4 but setting up the graphics can be quite tricky, i have a i7 8700k and a gtx 1080ti, and depending on the settings its way too buggy
1. I choose the car I like ... (AMG CLK GTR, BMW McLaren, Peugeot 905, Esperante, Pescarolo Peugeot...) 2. I choose the track ... ( Deep Forest, Autumn Ring...) 3. I put the difficulty at maximum! (Then Group C appears and the race becomes difficult and fun!) A friendly arcade race with maximum difficulty is much more fun than many simulator championships! Gner Gamer has done this many times in Brazil. He taught me to look for races with the highest A Spec score: 200 points.
