Well, there is something like that, but it's named differently. It's called Sky Temple zone. I think Skyopolis would've been funnier and more interesting though
@@ibis03 Just looked it up, yeah it...exists But it has pretty much nothing to do with either Sky Sanctuary or Sandopolis and I was kinda hoping for something more... Like imagine a stage set on the sky like the former but then you have a giant ominous cloud like the pyramid of the later where you have to get to in Act 1 and then get out of in Act 2 With those background details like that of Sandopolis hinting it's some kind of magic construct but made of the plataforms you'd see in Sky Sanctuary, with the bosses of both Act 1 & 2 being egg robots taking the shape of mythical creatures like in the former but being heavenly ones to keep the theme of the later, with the twist being that once you defeat them it isnt Eggman inside of it - but Mecha Sonic
I've been most excited for this remix, and I am not disappointed. Using Sandopolis Zone sounds was to be expected, but I didn't even consider using Desert Palace!! It fits perfectly ^^
I was waiting to see how you would make Sand Sanctuary and you definitely knocked it out of the park. I like the use of both Desert Palace and Sandopolis’s samples
I respect the use of Sandopolis' instruments. That's all i'm gonna say. Though no one would be able to make 0:58 sound bad even if they tried. Pretty good as always!! Keep on, love hearing these!!
Looks like the desert heat is starting to get to Knuckles. Another solid 16 bit remix, JX. Looking forward to hearing your covers for Press Factory Zone later.
While I am a massive fan of the original Sand Sanctuary (it is undoubtedly one of the best classic compositions of all time), there is a part of me that thought it was too "happy" for a desert stage, mainly the part that hits around the minute mark. However, this rendition is just exuding with that Sandopolis grit! There's also some Desert Palace influence, but it's not really a "happy" sounding desert like that tune was, if that makes sense. You did a great job here, JX. Words can not describe how excited I am for you to get to Press Factory and Golden Capital. It's time for some major glow ups.
YESS, this has got to be one of my favorite tracks in the game, also will there be a .VGM download for this and the other superstars tracks you've done?
The fact is that Sega inspired the song from Aquatic Ruins, why would it be the song from Sand Shower, not Oil Ocean, why Aquatic Ruins, because it has a whistle similar to the whistle from Desert Music
