my very first video.. still trying to figure some stuff out. Hope you enjoy! Modifications : Hellcat airbox BC racing coilovers-rear camber bushings scat pack chin spoiler (air dam) BMR lower trailing arms tazer (fat burnys coming soon)
I found this video searching for manual hellcat povs, I'm happy with it. I wish more people used these wide angles while driving manuals...Cause most times you don't even see them changing gears and I'm like, well it might as well be an automatic.
Just looked at a 2022 RT 6 speed….I’m stupid rusty when it comes to manuals as I’ve only driven a few in my life and only had one to daily for a short while. But god this makes me want one, that sound 🥵😍🤤
dude i've sat back and watched this video 5 or 6 times in the past two weeks. i think a r/t manual might be my next car in a few years. if you made more cruse videos like this with no music or talking i'd watch every one of them too. i kind of like sublime and want to do one kinda styled like an old trans am car with big wide steelies.
it handles well for what it is! i have taken the car to the mountains a few times i need to upgrade the brakes because the brake fade is really bad without the brembo's. i wish to take the car to a track day this year and i will film it!
Holy mother of god. Never seen a 2nd to 3rd shift that quick. I got a 19 Challenger Shaker RT with a 6M. Absolutely love driving a 6 speed. Had it for a year and hadn’t driven a manual for 13 years before it. Guess I am a little rusty. Great video though.
Thank you for this, trying to find a daily driver with manual and not a lot of tech with relatively good mileage. Shopping is kinda hard, few and far between.
I was thinking about either getting a used 2015 Mustang GT or a used 2015 Challenger RT but after hearing about all the issues with the Mustang's manual transmission, I think the RT is the move. I think it's got a good amount of horsepower for me to have for a third car as well
I have a 2016 RT manual too, the first thing I did was swap out the silly "ball" shifter for a Mr. Norms pistol grip. Makes me think I'm back in my 1970 Cuda again.
@@Gladiator34B I replaced the ball shifter two weeks after I bought the car, looks and shifts much better, The pistol grip shifter should come from the factory in all manual Challengers, if I wanted a ball I'd bought a Camaro or Mustang.
Plump_rt nice 👌🏼I wanted to get a 392 but I need to start off with something small other wise I’m going to do stupid thangs and get in trouble I rather be safe then sorry lol
Lol something small? Have you rode in a 5.7 challenger? They are fast as hell man. They definitely got balls. Everyone thinks if you don’t have the 6.4 hemi then you don’t have shit. The 5.7 is a monster of a motor for the price.
I have a 2016 Challenger RT 6 speed manual. Awesome! I absolutely love it. Except dodges piss poor quality when it comes to air conditioning keeps breaking down😡😠😡😠
One question, why don’t people just go from 5th or 4th to neutral and stop instead of putting stress on your engine by downshifting to engine brake and then to neutral, i see everyone downshift to a low gear and then neutral but I don’t know why
Less than five years old and 36000 miles and had to replace the evaporator twice. First time was covered under the warranty and the second time cost me $2,500. Unacceptable quality! The car and this is my third brand new Dodge however I will never buy another Dodge product
Unfortunately I don’t have the 6 speed. I will get another stick shift in the future. But it’s simple. 1. Clutch in 2. Downshift into next gear - (at the same time) Blip the throttle Enough to match the revs for the lower gear. 3. Release clutch That’s how I did it
It’s pretty easy to drive imo. The pedals are spaced a good bit from what I remember/ heel toe is difficult. The stock shifter is sloppy but it does the job. And clutch feel was nice. Nice decent weight to it but it’s not super heavy
I have just bought mine a 17 challenger ta / rt plus and i do like the feel and the roar you just feel different in this car compared to a mustang or camaro this is an attention grabber but 2nd shift feel kinda sticky all other gears are smooth but 2nd feels kinda jumpy unless you shift a little on the lower side rpms like 2500 and down, once you hit 3000 and up it will feel like you need to hold the clutch in a little longer for it to barely be noticeable other than that sport mode gives it a nice little murica (american) punch
