Im moving to gastown this week. It's a micro suite in an old building. I have never lived in a city before. But I am from the GVRD, more country rural area 35 min from Vancouver. Can I ask where your tiny apartment was? The first one you moved out of to live with your boyfriend. You did a vid on it. I'd like to know where that building was.Just incase I find mine just too small. One more question, do you feel safe walking alone on vancouver streets after dark? Everyone tells me it's totally safe for me to go jogging after dark. I like to workout later evening. What is your opinion on this? Thank you, I subscribed!
Welcome to the city! My apartment was in a neighbourhood called Fairview / South Granville - back when I moved there were some older, relatively affordable apartments there. TBH I feel safe at night in certain parts of downtown - I think if you go towards waterfront, and downtown centre, it’s busier and feels safer. I’d steer clear of Downtown Eastside at night though personally!
