Finally a person that doesn’t complain if it’s 1 mm thicker and if the fans speed up, unlike most people that literally want it to be glass thin and the quietest thing possibly on Earth.
It’s wild how the most impressive part of this video was the microphone. Holy shit it sounded good. Honestly similar to the studio mic just with a slight muffle over it.
Wait, did I just watch a nice video without any sponsored advertising and no silly face on the video miniature?! Pleasant to watch and very informative. Thank you and keep it up!
All of the time codes are linked in the description so you can jump right to what you would like to see. What do you think of the new MacBook Pro? Thanks for watching!
I am quite comfortable with my 13” MacBook pro 2015having all ports which i need day to day life mainly USB and HDMI. And using this lapy without any adaptor. 👍🏻
@@Racidy The fans only spin up when doing intensive tasks. When using it to type this for example, you cant hear them. For the actual studio mic I bump the gain up and add some bass. For the MacBook Pro mics I only made the volume level the same, nothing more.
how to easily get convinced you don't need it... build a maxxed out configuration, check the price. If that still doesn't scare you away, yeah I guess you may buy it but I won't. lol
How is that a problem? Thry need a large charging brick to dissipate the heat generated for the amount of current it needs to push. For most companies it would be double the size.
Exactly the review I was looking for. I can’t wait to get mine next month! Thanks for the great in depth review. Without a doubt my favorite that I’ve found so far
Enjoyed the unboxing and first look at the 16 in MBP Aaron😀👍🏾Sounded awesome.Do you work with Garage Band? Would like to see and hear something made with this or another audio program😉Anyone else?
Thanks Aaron for this initial reviews, please I need to get your specifications correctly, maybe I need to listen to the broadcast again as I don’t want to make any mistake. I am in thoughts of getting the 1TB but I am still not sure if I should go with the 2TB. Thanks for another review. We ♥ You.
The previous butterfly keyboard was not a bad idea - it sits flush against the screen so the keys don't touch the screen. The 2015 MBP - I bought it in 2017 - now needs a screen replacement: #staingate. And a bloated battery with only 159 cycles on it.
8:14 I think the 16" macbook pro does not push more because Apple wants it to have as much headroom for cooling since bending the screen more will more likely cover the ventilation shafts behind the screen
Is the overall temperature good? I mean running heavy tasks is a nice thing but it's not the average usage. Would be nice to see some more insights on that.
Hi Aaron, thanks a lot for this awesome review! I am interested in picking one up, and was curious as to how you managed to pick one up at the store with such high configurations? Are all configurations available at the stores, or only specific configurations? Thanks.
I only bought a 15 inch 2019 MacBook pro a few weeks ago, I wish I waited now because I really don't like the butterfly keyboard and id appreciate the ESC key. :(
RETURN IT!!! If within 14 days it’s free. If not, contact the manager and tell him you want to put the return towards the 16”. They are usually super cool about it if it is less than a month old.
That's a $$$ for a Laptop with no wifi 6. I still don't why Apple didn't make it standard for this years Mac Book Pro since everything else is. That's is only complaint that I have. Great review. Enjoy and keep up the good work.
I wanna buy macbook air 2019 just to play minecraft and cs go also doing some schoolwork. But its specs dont compare to the vetter same price laptops and I dont know should I buy macbook air 2019
Just when we thought it wasn't coming, WHAM. 1TB storage would be enough for me. Macbook mic sounds deeper. It is fine. Maybe these improvements will be put into the smaller Macbook Pro next year? Everybody is RAVING about the new speakers. Have you gave them a listen yet?
Hi, currently I am planning to purchase a MacBook Pro 16. I would like to request you. Please guide me should I purchase it or not. Like display quality performance durability etc.
You've had the best comparison dimensions graphics of the two MBPs so far. I bought the 2019 Mac Book Pro 15" last August, and already Apple has pushed out this new version. Gosha washa! They certainly know the way to make a guy feel outdated quick. 😩
Mike sounds very beefy! Holy fan action Batman! I’m going to assume that the I five and I seven offers up less noise! Similar to 2017? Great video cheers… Keith
Just to let you know there a app for android call phone information *sam* and it actually give the battery information for health and ti free maybe you can talk about on ur next video would be great
Hey Aaron, @zollotech I have a 15 inch macbook pro. Running El Capitan and recently, about 2 months back from today, the apple mail app errors at opening..??? I am not sure what to do about this. I am hoping you can give me the solution to this problem. Thanks in advance.
Aftab Khan i thought there was a new one coming out 😂 i am getting 13’ the new one but on installments, i will get it tomorrow. Will do an unboxing video
the reason for the huge performance gap is... that he is comparing a macbook pro 2017 (i7 quad core which only boosts up to 3,9:4,1 ghz) with the macbook pro 16" 2019 (i9 hexacore). Really nice unboxing/review, but really bad comparison.
That was the last MacBook Pro that was fast. I reviewed the 8-core 2018 and 2019 MacBook Pro that thermal throttled. The speed for export was almost identical to the 2017.
Hey. I know this sounds a bit stupid but can you make a video on the battery health? I bought my machine around 8 months back. With a very light usage, and around 48 charge cycles, my battery health has come down to 93% (according to iStatsmenu and CoconutBattery). I still have a few months time. So i wanted your suggestions. If this isn’t normal, then i could take it to the Apple service center and get it replaced. Please let me know what do you think about this matter. Because as far i know, no one has addressed about this battery health issue for the mbp 16 inch, so far. I am asking for you help because i trust no one but you. Thanks for hearing me out. Much love Avlnce :)
I would just ignore it. 80% after 2 years is normal. They won’t replace the battery unless it is under that as it is within spec. I really wish apple would just show good or bad as percentages seem to really make people nervous.
zollotech zollotech wow thanks for replying. means a lot to me. Yes i know it kind of seems bad and also makes me sad when i see that battery health go down. Anyways, although i have checked many macforums, many are facing this health detoriation problem. How’s your battery health? I mean have you checked it yet? (Sorry to bother but wanted something as for a reference.)
Have a question , I am purchasing , mac book pro 16 inch with 16 GB RAM . Is it possible to later extend the RAM size to 32GB if I needed it without purchasing a new MacBook Pro again ?
@@Medhavi123 Thanks, I purchased Macbook pro 16 in Bangalore apple store. There the maximum config available was 16GB. So, there was no other option to go to 32 GB which i was planning.. Hope 16GB will be enough for FCP video editing ? Yet to purchase FCP
Ramesh Kumar Unfortunately, in India you can only buy stock configurations (16 GB max). Also , with FCP the focus is more on the processor and GPU than RAM. If the VRAM (4 GB I am presuming) doesn’t cut it, you can plan to add eGPU down the road but I doubt whether the 16 GB of RAM is going to be that much of a bottleneck for you. There is nothing in these MacBooks that’s user upgradeable unfortunately.
@@Medhavi123 Thanks so much for the detailed info 😊. Very helpful as i am new to macbook pro, coming from windows user. Yeah, today purchased FCP few mins back , too expensive Rs 25K .. Will take time to learn.. Hope so no bottleneck with the configuration 😊. One more silly question ( i really dont know about it ) , For macbook pro do we need to put screen protectors like we put in our ipad pro devices ? . I am worried when i close the macbook pro as screen touches the keyboard.. I havent seen any where macbook pro screen protector mentioned though. When asked in apple store, they said they dont have idea about it as rarely people purchase they said... Any suggestions by you will be helpful.
Ramesh Kumar You don’t need any screen protectors for MacBooks. Just clean your screen regularly with a microfibre cloth (dampening it a little with water). Nor do you need to worry about the keys scratching the screen. Been using MacBook Pros for > 10 years and never had an issue. I am not sure whether you’re student. If you are you could get FCP at a very competitive price, but even at 25K, FCP is a very good deal.
zollotech much rather an iPhone over a MacBook. Smartphones are the most innovative piece of equipment. You can bring it any where with you, take photos, game, use maps, pretty much anything. I don’t see spending that much dough on a laptop. Just my opinion
