@@rickrolled7930 he was cursing at the car in front for not overtaking or passing the towing truck. roughly translated "come on go, come on go, lick my as*, go!!!"
The 10 minutes from 4:44:06 are the best I have ever seen in an endurance race. You can feel the extreme exhaustion of the driver, Frank Stippler. If you don't understand German, he's arguing intensely about the drivers in front because they received blue flags and didn't let him pass immediately. At this point, Frank Stippler is in first place, with the second-placed BMW right behind him, looking for an opportunity to overtake. The Audi was on rain tires, which became slipperier and hotter with each lap on the half wet and half dry track. Frank searched for wet spots to keep the tires cool as much as possible while blocking the dry line to prevent the BMW from passing. But Stippi (his nickname) is an absolute genius and has extensive experience in endurance racing. He has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans multiple times and many other series. So, despite being under extreme psychological pressure, this genius keeps his composure and makes no mistakes. The BMW doesn't pass him until he heads into the pit lane.
Thanks for that! That honestly gave me goosebumps. It's a perfect reminder how intense this is on the driver even for someone as experienced as Stippler. Just golden footage
To think this fucking beast of a driver is 49 years old is insane. Even though it was in ACC, I did an endurance race as a second long stint so I can understand his anger.
I had the same thing happen on a 2 lane road in a slight bent leading to the highway in a e36 323 automatic in 4 gear around 120 km/h lol. Was on cheap tires, but certainly raised my heartbeat, and instead of the grass here, i had a guard rail witch came close. Most extreme save and angle, looks almost 90 degrees, that i saw was probably verstappen 2016 in brazil race. Thanks for the time stamp, drive safely, no tail gaiting please.
Does anyone know what is the buzzing sound around 0:14, I also hear that in assetto corsa and it's driving me nuts, it appears to be consistent on an off sound every 10 sec
Shame, imagine how the driver feels too. He puts up with that on the daily so we can sit and watch this in the comfort of our own homes. Legendary driver.
This man is an absolute savage! Driving like a man possessed. Doesn’t anyone know if he was going for a world record here? And what a car, that Audi drives like it’s on rails…
@@laughinclown88Yeah I understand that it’s an endurance race on the ring. Like most things in life that are competitive, there can be standings, champions and records to be broken. Hence is he going for a record in this race. Most fastest laps in this particular class on this particular course for example.
bruh he was on first place and had the bmw right behind his ass (especially through the whole last double stint 4:45:15), it got dark, sporadic rain and fog occurred in different spots in different sectors and he was on wets. so if you're in this situation, the pressure is on and if there are backmarkers that are not capable of looking in the back mirrors, while losing important time, of course you get even more aggressive. so if there's one driver of the scherer team who can transform pressure into something good, then its stippler. mark my words.
