How many years do I have to be wrestling before I am a wrestler? Do guys who have wrestled all through highschool and then college not count? I don’t understand what qualifies someone as a wrestler in your eyes, the bar must be really high. 8 years is a long time, highschool is 4 years and then 4 years of college wrestling. I must be missing something.
@@ThinWhiteLuke Brother, he is no wrestler because he really is no wrestler, he did one of the most newbie things a non-wrestler would do, which is pressing all of his weight, without any kind of setup, against the smaller guy, which led to him getting taken down by one of the most obvious take down attempts against this kind of pushing. T his is social media, this is for show, dont be fooled. Even when he got taken down, his reaction was not that of a wrestler. I assume you yourself have no wrestling experience?
@@amicellnandan3245 I don’t have any wrestling experience , I’m not a wrestler. that’s why I said “I must be missing something”. I’m open to being wrong. My thing is, If he’s making these rookie mistakes it’s possible he’s lying about the 8 years? 8 years is a long enough time to become good at anything. Like I stated above, 8 years is long enough to go through highschool and college wrestling and those guys are certainly considered real wrestlers. So maybe the dude is lying.
He could be a former wrestler who started at 10 years old and wrestled in highschool. Obviously most guys who wrestled in highschool don’t keep up with it later in life and forget what they once knew and practiced. It doesn’t help that Georgio is an absolute stud that makes everyone look terrible in these little challenges.
He may wrestle at a MMA gym but Id bet the house he has never focused on competitive wrestling. He is square, not hand fighting, and has no balance. It’s a much different sport when you are wrestling for BJJ than pure wrestling.
I'm not saying I personally could take him down. I do wonder why ppl aren't using other arts like judo, and jujitsu sweeps etc instead of always trying to out wrestle a wrestler
As a BJJ guy, it’s because most of us know that we aren’t going to successfully stand with a semi-skilled wrestler much less a good one 😂 has he challenged a good judo player yet? I haven’t watched enough to know
