Like breone I too have been braiding since an early age. I taught myself one day while sitting in my bedroom (I was supposed to be cleaning) and used the end fringes of my bedspread to learn. Once I told my mom she encouraged me to learn how to do box braids, cornrows and braiding with weave. I used to braid her hair (Goddess bless and may she continue to rest in peace
I did six cornrows on my sister with the weave today and it turned out way better than I expected it too. You're such a great teacher! Thanks for these amazing videos (:
Keep doing you, and forget what them folks sayin' you was talking too much. I'm a beginner myself, so I need detail explanation on "How to braid" on your videos. I appreciate you and your explanations, so thank you. God Bless You, Queen!
If you think she was talking too much than you dont need help...some people are auditory learners and need all the talking and step by step...ooops that was probably too much for the people with A.D.D
Don't worry about the time. Some people are just too lazy and impatient for long videos. What they don't realize is that if they were learning from someone in person face to face, it would be even longer. That's just the teaching process and I think you are doing a great job. 👍
Girl! I wish I could sit and learn from you face to face. Your braids are crisp and neat. And i love how patient and detailed you are in your videos. I'll just keep watching and soon I will be able to braid with hair. Thank you! ☺️
@@Beautycanbraid simple, and thanks for educating us about damage that may occur because of us adding weave at the beginning of the cornrow. Also I didn't know all the extension hair needs to be equal in size to get a perfect look and also stretch the hair to prevent a blunt look on the ends. AMEN! 🙂🙏
Im watching this in 2020 and I just want to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I can cornrow but didnt know how to add weave... now I do thanks to you. You are very thorough and professional, and you show different ways to do it. Excellent video👏👏👏
It's funny how I thought I was like the only blk girl that don't know how to cornrows or braid hair. ....good to know I'm not alone..but I wish I could've learned earlier..I know if I keep watching your vids, I will learn because you are a great teacher and I only saw this one vid so far...I can jus tell cuz u super thorough..so, thanks for helping us...now I jus gotta find someone to experiment on after I learn 😂😜
I've been using every tutorial lol! I've gotten better on myself but trying to braid my daughters curly frizzy hair is no bueno lol! I thought I was the only black girl who couldn't braid either. My Mom used to pay her friends to braid my hair smh lol!
Video not to long. Explained in detail, which I thought was important when you're trying to educate the ones with all of the questions. You're my number one Hairstylist when it comes to Crochets ad braids. I enjoy watching your channel.
Anyone who waist time to complain about you being lengthy on your videos have to much time on their hands. I love your work and God bless you for taking the time to share that knowledge with the world.
Thank you so much Beautycanbraid! Because of you I my hair license is on the way in the mail. Haven't braided since 2004, did someone's hair in some box braids with yaki perm, & it came out beautiful. None of the braids loosened. Thank you so much again. P.S. I'm coming to sit in your chair soon. Riding from Lakeland.
I actually like the length of your videos!! I braid hair all the time, but struggled with adding weave and boom watching these two videos.. I got it !!!!
I don't know when you have time to sleep. You are a professional that I love to hear speak, teach and share your gift with us. If you ever need me to fly out to Florida to be your hair model, just let me know. Nothing but love for you Beauty. Stay blessed.
I’m sorry I know others have complained about you talking a lot but I enjoy it because you explain clearly and for better understanding I love your videos you have really helped me. Keep it up I so wish lived near me! Thank you
This video is excellent! The timing is perfect. People don't like the long videos because the actual instruction doesn't start till 25% in. Too much intro. You started giving great content from the first few seconds. This is extremely helpful. Great tips. Thank you!
I Dont mind the long videos. they are very helpful. I Dont understand why people complain about long RU-vid videos but they watch one hour long TV shows. thank you for your videos. they are helping me be a better braider. thank you very much.
To me, the videos you've done are clear, detailed, and informative . i would like to see a video on how to part /section the hair for cornrows and box braids with weave . Also how to measure or pinch off the right amount of hair to do the braids? Your time and effort is much appreciated ! Keep the videos coming...
I love the comparisons you did! I consider myself an intermediate braider, so it's fun still learning different techniques from you! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed it and I wasn't concerned about the length of it. I just appreciate you taking your time to thoroughly explain the process without rushing through.
best feed in video on RU-vid hands down. you're so gentle too with your client...lol she's cute. that camera is freaking amazing and you're a great teacher. just an FYI
I love how she gave so much detail and how the video is long I love it the only reason why the video is long is because she wanted to make sure we got it and I love that I'm only 11 and u teached me how to braid thank you I am so surprised that I know how to braid at the age of 11 thank you so much. So much details thank you !
Your video was very helpful. Although I had did my daughter hair years ago, she now 45 years old, so times has changed. I do have a granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters so I need to begin doing their hair. All the new hair products that are in stores help me also in buying and staying alert to show what products are essential. Thanks again, Beatrice
please don't change anything about your videos, the length is perfect as I can braid right along with you. to hell with those who say it's to long. you have really helped me with my braiding, I'm going to start training my 7yr old to braid using your videos. I thank you for taking your precious time to show us your craft. continued blessings to you. I'm a loyal follower both on here and ig!
I was up early this morning trying to watch videos on how to learn how to do cornrows, french braids. I am the only girl in my family that can't braid. Im hoping to mark this off my to learn list. Your video gave me some hope to learning how to complete this off my to learn list.
One of the best cornrows tutorials around, and I can cornrow. Your explanation is clear, highlighting common mistakes. I loved the way you showed how to protect the edges. Thank you. Your a star ⭐
Your videos have really helped me to braid properly. When I first started braiding I would braid underhand because I could not figure out how to braid the regular way. Now when I braid my daughters hair it last longer. Thanks for all the hard work and detail you put into your videos.
I use to braid long time ago but I never knew how to do cornrows from looking at your videos I learned how to do corn rows also how to add hair! All in the same day you are such a good teacher! Thanks so much!! You do close ups and you explain what you are doing you are the best keep up the good work !!
You inspired me to start crocheting my own hair and I can't thank you enough for such detailed videos. Don't apologize for your work. A person who truly want to know how it's done will watch it and won't realize how long the videos are. Keep up the great work!
I think it is necessary for those of us who are interested that you explain it well like you are doing therefore time is not an issue to me. I have enjoyed and learned from your videos. Thanks.
Very helpful. While I do know how to cornrow, I always have trouble adding extensions to my cornrows. But after watching, I believe I can do it on my own head again. I've only done it once before about 3 years ago to strengthen the base before I added a crocheted style. It was a struggle then, but I think I can manage it now. I'll have to search through your videos to see if you have a tutorial on how to add extensions to cornrows while braiding your own hair.
Pls never listen to what people say.your talking helps us a lot.majes us remember the steps once again.i love your tutorials and I hope to meet you someday.kudis to the best teacher in the world.
I could watch and listen all day. My favorite teacher on youtube because she's very slow and has a good way of explaining & your voice is so cute! You sound like my family in South Carolina.
I just love you,you are the best teacher and video maker on RU-vid,you explain so well and your videos are clear ,God bless and increase you in all areas of your life.
Thank you for sharing. You are a great instructor. I don't care how long you take, you explain step by step on how to braid and you are though. Thanks again for taking the time to explaining the method.😊👍
Keep up the good work. Don't worry about the time on the video if they know how to do what you are doing they can just fast forward to what they want to see. You explained the braiding process very well. Thank you for taking time out to share your talent with us.
Keep talking, don't nobody care about the curmudgeons not wanting to hear you talk, or complaining about you talking too long. I learn well by listening AND watching. Keep doing your thing Beauty. Thanks for this tutorial💜
We love your voice so soothing and clear! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and expertise with us. You are very beautiful inside and out!! Haitian Princess! 😊
Thanks for taking the time to break down how to add hair into cornrows correctly. I have struggled with this for a while. im gonna get back to practicing. Thanks for sharing ☺
It's Very rare that "blackmen" braid our own hair After watching your videos I have been inspired to keep growing my hair for this very reason. Thanks @BeautyCanBraid
Thank you so much for this video!!! I never knew how to braid with weave until I watch your video. I'm going to keep practicing until i get it better, Mesi
You helped me with the beginning techniques to start the hair. mine always goes a little farther back than I like. I do the cross over of the hair but my grip was different. Thank youa
I would like to see more different kinds of braids like the tree braids, bantue knotsa, and ,banana braids. Your videos are clear and concise the talking is goo because you help the understand why this tech is needed and when is needs and how to keep presser off your edges. Thank You ! also you need to remind you viewing that this video is for 101 students called (beginning course)
Honey you are brilliant and so blessed and the way you help others is PHENOMENAL... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK..I to am a braider/hair stylist and I still learn so much from you..God bless you my friend..I LOVE YOUR WORK
I struggle with parting straight and neat. I also struggle with starting the braid with weave at the hair line. I've been practicing. I struggle with braiding short hair straight back it's like I lose my grip. I'm excited to learn I literally taught myself. Thank u for sharing how to do many different styles to braid.
Thank you for the thorough video.. I need it, I cant wait to try it on my daughter, hope she is ready... It will take me a few times but this is what I need.
Hi no need to apologize for being what I call a Master Hair braiding Surgeon. In order to become great at hair braiding; all of your explanations are needed and are ver necessary. If there are complaints about your teaching skills then one can feel free to go to another channel. Perhaps what they learn may be a different technique but not on a professional level. You have an awesome gift, continue to exercise it with the delightful passion that have have for it. This skill is very costly and you're giving it freely. There is a difference between honest criticism and complaints. I don't know you and from listening to you teach, you seem to be a good instructor. I would definitely be one of your consumers, guest, or students without a doubt if I lived in your area. Thank you for being an awesome and detailed stylist. Your gift has made room for others to grow and make people feel and look beautiful. May the most high continue to enlarge your coast!🏆🏆
Those who are saying she is talking to much idk what you're talking about. I absolutely loved the detailed explanations. Also close ups were great , awesome camera work. I have been looking for help learning different braiding techniques because my girls have very coily thick hair (daddy is Dominican me I'm Puerto Ricn so lots of thick beautiful curls all over! ) Subscribed! Thanks!
I think this video is extremely great! You really took your time and also did a fabulous job with the hair. May God continue to bless you greatly and richly with new talents.
OMG! This was so helpful. I want to add crochet to my hair but needed to add in some extension. This is my 5th attempt and finally found a video that is more basic. I am not at Feed in level. lol! Thank you again!
Thank you so much for this video. It was my mom’s first time doing braids. This was a supper helpful video for her to follow. The braids came out great!
id rather that it be detailed than shortcut and no one would,be able to understand. if it is too long for some, they don't have to watch it, everyone has a different learning pace therefore for those who want more detailed vids i feel tho you should keep them detailed the way you do
thank you so much for this video it helped me a lot. I have one video suggestion. how would you separate the hair when you going to add it into a corn roll when it's just you and how would you just lay it out where it don't get confusing or mixed up if you could show a video on that and how you lay out your hair for your clients had that would be graciously appreciated by me thank you for your time.
