Assembly and testing of the 16P BatteryBloc that holds sixteen cells. Assemble four of these to get a 4S16P 12 volt battery, for example.

Where did you get the magnets holders for the project? I tell you a secret if you tell me

Try Ali Express. Neodymium magnets

what do you think I can use to charge a 4S 50ah battery pack with solar?

So you have a "12" volt system. Use a MPPT charge controller. You are talking about lithium batteries right? So you need to charge at 16 volts. Wire your solar panels in series and step down the voltage to 16 volts through your MPPT tracker. Charge at 16 volts with a BigBloc Balancer on each parallel group.

Shawn, thanks for replying. Yes, I'm looking to power up couple of 12v 1.5amp pumps for few hours a day. And some low wattage LED's at night for couple hours. I got the mppt portion of your reply and panels in series. Not sure what you meant with the last part of big block balancing. Have a good day

Hello Shawn, hope all is well. I am hoping you could help me with this question. I made 3x24 18650 battery packs wired them in series to get 60ah @ 12v and added a 100amp BMS. Can I make 3 exactly the same packs and wire them in Parallel to acquire 120ahs? Thank you for your feed back. Have a nice day.

Yes you can. You can then charge and run them in parallel, as long as each pack has it's own BMS.

Shawn, so that set up does only require 2 BMS?

Yes, you can connect them in parallel, positives of each battery to a positive bus, and negatives to a negative bus, and use three BMS's on them.

Shawn I'm greatful for you time in helping me tackle this stumping question , well to me at least. I have 3 separate packs each pack has 24 cells in parallel I connected the 3 packs in series to make it a 12v battery at 60 ah's. And I connected a 3s 100 amp BMS to it. Can I make an identical pack just like the one I just mentioned, and connect it in parallel to achieve 120 ah's?

Certainly. I would get two lengths of copper pipe, hammer it flat. Make one the positive bus and the other the negative bus. Connect the positives of your battery packs to one bus and the negatives to the other. I would use XT-90 connectors between the batteries and the bus bars so you could remove a single battery for servicing and your system would still be up. You could charge all at once through the bus bars. You can solder directly to the copper bus bar.
