I’m happy to have discovered you on you tube! My first joy was to see that you’re an orthopedic surgeon and respected physician! I live in an African American doctor desert, almost. Here, we have the usual, I.e. general practitioners, dentist, general surgeons, etc., and a few specialty specialist, like cardiologist. There are no Black dermatologist, no black dental specialist, and most other specialist here. I live in Little Rock, Ar. And I believe I am under treated, and not listened to fully by doctors of other persuasions(if you will). I just needed to get that off my chest. A Black doctor is always my first choice, not because I’m racist, but because I believe there to be a better level of understanding everything about my body and better knowledge of reality as it applies to me. In case I forgot to mention it, I m a Black woman.that’s it!

Congratulations Dr Webb! After ten years do you have to take another set of written+oral boards? What is the process for recertification? Thank you for all that you do you are an inspiration. Even though I sometimes feel like this path is not worth it, it helps to see someone who looks like me succeeding and continuing through the finish line!

I remember when my son in law went to do his oral exam to get his board certification for orthopedic surgery. His specialty is knees and hips.
