I'll never get over the fact that this song didn't win. It's got it all; a great song, a kickass vocal, powerful performance, even the stage looked its best here. Plus this song really benefitted from the huge arena. Slovenia should've won in 2001!
setheurovision94 The answer is simple. It's because we are Slovenia. I don't see us ever winning, I actually think we should say goodbye to Eurovision for some time. (Regardless of us qualifying yesterday, it didn't change my mind tbh and no, it's not cuz I want us to win(we don't have enough money, traffic would collapse etc.), it's just RTVSLO gives way too much hope to performers as if they can win one day. They can't, end of story, just stop it.) This and Maja (2011) are the best we ever sent and we still got 7th and 13th. I want to see Maja who goes by Amaya now, compete in Melodifestivalen (she lives in Sweden with her fiance now) and win it and because it's Sweden we will see the difference: same performer, different country, I bet she would be close to winning the Eurovision or win it. (But in a few years, Sweden doesn't need to win soon again imo, ha)
Funny I thought it was uncouth, a little frightning, a tacky top,.all rather fake..but for the neighbourly voting it would have been pushed further down the pecking order. betnod.com/threads/eurovision-song-contest-2016.7949/
Nooo! I love the production! So properly electrified. The main problem is that this entry was too early visuals-wise. If Slovenia had sent this in the last 5 years with the so great visual potentials, with all the high-tech led lights and video walls and effects etc, the whole result could have ended up absolutely EPIC.
