Two things. One, the opponent looks more like 27 than 17. Second, Spencer was the only one to try anything on offense. He deserved to win it more.

That’s not true. Spencer was definitely the aggressor but his opponent was excellent with defense and his counter-offense. Definitely kudos to Spencer though he made the right adjustments in the middle of the match and broke his opponent at the end

Boy, did this ref try everything he could to screw Spencer out of points. Stoped the matched clearly in bounds twice, awarded back exposure to the defensive wrestler...glad it worked out for Spencer. And that arm raising thing at the end was total bush league. Wondering the nationality of that ref.

Question: Wouldn't they cool the wrestler down quicker and more efficiently if they fanned them before wiping the sweat off? Water dissipates heat better than air Leaving the sweat on for a minute might be a better option

Torn ACL. His senior year in highschool. Undefeated till the state finals match his senior year against Desanto. Lee beat Desanto by tech fall the year before in the state finals. Lee is winning D1 national championships with torn ACL's or no ACL's. He'll win the Hodge for a third time after winning his fourth D1 national championship in March...mark my words! I certainly am praying for this remarkable young man!!!

Its a legal move in free style! Hard to get used to the changes,between the two.Not sure what there called ,but are 4 scorers ringside that put up paddles if they agree with the call thats made.Think if one fails to hold up paddle score doesn't count.So maybe better than 2 refs?? Besides seldom do wrestling refs reverse there call! IMO should be done by independent ref as a t matside! If I gave wrong info I apologize, but thats my understanding.
