Such a refreshing change to see Paul reasonably impressed by some 'interesting' ammunition, so many times they fail to even come close to what they promise.

I have only tried their 10mm defensive ammo. Admittedly, I picked it up because it was considerably less expensive than the others available locally. It grouped well in an M&P, but I don't use ballistic gel or a "meat target", so....

Paul, as a suggestion, when price comes up rather than mention specific prices, you could COMPARE the prices to similar ammunition from several competitors, then just give a general "It's price averages out to about 22% higher (or lower, whatever) that similar ammo from other brands. This takes much of the price fluctuation out of the picture, while still giving us a general idea of what we could expect to pay for the ammo (example: "Okay, so on average I can expect to pay MORE for this than American Eagle, but less than Remington Green& White Box"). Understand? EDIT: Totally forgot to thank you for another well-made, informative video! The montage went on a BIT longer than I would have liked, but that may be because I had to use the bathroom. Old guy problem.

Of course there's a montage :) Your team's productions are just top shelf, I know it's a ton of extra work in the editing and composition, but the results are worth it. Also fascinating to see a "magic" ammo live up to it's promises for once. Thanks to the whole crew there and cheers!

I am a big fan of the Sinter Fire rounds. I have tested them in 9mm, .40cal, and .45acp. They performed well each time and were extremely reliable. Thanks for the awesome review. I always put a lot of stock in what Paul has to say about guns and ammo! 🙂

That's a nice range. If we shoot more than 6 rounds at once the old man back the road calls the game warden. The fine is $100 for each round over 6. A few years ago somebody was fined over $1500 for having a loaded AR mag.

1776 will be breaking out the party hats, for Paul to imply it's ammo he personally use, y'all know how high that bar is.

I tried out some of the 1776 frangible 10mm ammo. Overall, not bad but you should know that the projectiles are magnetic. If your range prohibits the use of ammo based on whether or not the projectile attracts a magnet, then they won't let you use this stuff. Also, I had some failures to feed with my Mech Tech carbine that resulted in the bullets snapping off at the case mouth, leaving a piece of the bullet stuck in the case and the other piece separated completely.

That was probably the best performing ammunition that I've seen evaluated on the channel; good stuff in my opinion. Not saying it was the best, just saying that that was my observation.

I really liked seeing Chuck and a montage been a little while on both. The meat target looked like it was whooped. even as it was being shot I knew the results were good. Orange pulp flying out all over the place . Cool viddy MR. Harrell!

Sportsman's Guide had these exact 9mm hollow points for $6 a box a few months back. I bought 20 boxes on extremely limited information, not knowing how well they'd perform. I'm very glad I did. I've been pleased with my results and Paul's testing backs that up. I've been carrying this ammo in all my 9mm pistols. With carry ammo being often ridiculously expensive, to get these for the same price as budget FMJ was a steal. I don't think they have the 9mm at that low price anymore but they have some calibers at like $8 a box still.

Good video, used to carry sinter fire rounds in my 380 with some skepticism on my part, then went to fmj. This video got me thinking about that decision

I love seeing the Hi-point 9mm carbine being used! I would love to see .Mr. Harrell evaluating that firearm.

My local field and stream store was selling this stuff at a huge discount. I bought a few boxes reluctantly because frankly field and stream said it was junk ammo but i still wanted to try. You beat me to the testing and i will go grab some more of this stuff now. Thanks

Did anybody else have a similar experience to watching this? A little over 90 seconds into this video, I find that my hips are starting to move, almost in a hypnotic fashion. If it wasn't for the wireless headphones, my neck surely would have snapped as I hopped out of my chair. A bit of a shake to the left, then a bit to the right. Once again, I look at the screen and all of a sudden I get the sudden urge to fondle my CX4 Storm. Enthusiastically, I gyrate my way towards my safe. Hips and pelvis almost uncontrollable, both hands chugging in a locomotive fashion. Suddenly after almost 2 minutes of "feelin the groove", I find myself transfixed on the reliability of 1776 Sinter Fire, smiling to myself because only Paul Harrel could make someone take pride in reloading, chambering a round, then putting in safe a 92FS as nonchalantly as he does. Need less work on the old man dance moves and more work on situational awareness while reloading (and dancing?!) I think.

Another great video from Paul. It would be interesting to see how these 9mm bullets do in carbines for accuracy. With the large number of pistol caliber carbines out there now I am curious how they compare to pistols with the ammunition tested. This is not a negative comment on this test but a thought generated by the montage.

Like so much how you let us decided for our selves if ammo it right for us based on the Infor you give. I have found that after testing some for myself I do not like it but others I do. Thanks for always being honest and strait forward.
