I agree to you that the thumbnail has no good style. As Karmapa Thaye Dorje says in the end of the video "there is no life without obsticals and there is no life without controveses." There is a long and not always peaceful history between the Kagyu lineage and Gelugpa lineage and the actual Dalai Lama made the mistake to confirm the Karmapa witch was choosen by the Chinese and he disrespects Karmapa Thaye Dorje. But thats the way thing are , humans are not perfect and also a Dalai Lama makes mistakes. As Buddists we have to learn to deal with such things.

There is no issue though. The Dalai Lama clearly recognized who is the Karmapa so ya he isn't confused and neither are the followers and neither is the Karmapa. It's the common people who are confused if they are on the wrong side, but not the Lama's themselves or the followers of the Lamas.

No! If you marry then you can't call yourself a monk. The precepts can not be compromised by anyone or changed. The Precepts were taught by the Buddha and no one can ever change that. Namo Amituofo!

Well in the case of Tibetan Buddhism, some highly monks are required to take consort for many spiritual reasons! So yes they’re allowed to marry, well in this case of karmapa. He married to expand his lineage!🙏 it would be kind of irony for Theravada Buddhism ..

Some High lamas are required to have consort for many spiritual purposes. Even my Great grandfather who was once a High Lama had a consort in order to expand his lineage. For instance Our precious Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche was married in order to prolong his health!! We are taught as a tibetan Buddhist not to criticize highly lamas! Who knows? Both could be reincarnation of Karmapas. One mind and one Body! I equally believe in both karmapas not only because they’re reincarnation of karmapa because I believe they both are benefiting all beings by flourishing buddhas precious activities 🙏 🙏🙏

Better than Ogyen impregnated Vikki Hui Xin Han who was nun and he left her. I think that true Karmapa didn't do that.

Ogen trinley dorje is not a real karmapa... he is reincernation by setu rinpoche.....

In my view, no one is fake if that individual meditate and practice the dharma properly and guide the sentient beings by his knowledge. One thing I cannot imagine about Thaye Dorjee is taking a wife and entering into family life.

@@lamamonlam6902 but he can only be a lama or rinpochey n not a karmapa....this karmapa name is only enthroned to karmapa ogyen thinley dorjee. Shamar rinpoche is not the highest lama.. Each n Every rinpoche has to go through the acceptance of his holiness... You people can follow but we real Tibetan or buddhist can't follow...🙏🙏🙏
