17x10 Wheels with 315/35/17 tires on a BMW 335d triple turbo car, will they fit?

Yep, fits really good and rides good, which was a must for me. I removed the 5mm spacers later on and tucked the wheels in a little more, it looked even better.

@@froyothepro5615 Sidewall numbers are a percentage of the width. A 255/35 means the sidewall is 35% of 255. That means the wider the tire the lower the sidewall rating number will be for the same height in sidewall.

@@SuperVarunan i know but my 305’s are kinda close to the width of sutphin’s tire. and mine are 30 sidewall and the sidewall is still pretty skinny in relative terms. his wheels are 2” smaller in diameter. i was just wondering why he didn’t take the liberty to go for more sidewall as he had plenty of space. but then again maybe it has to do with how he has his rear suspension set up 🤷‍♂️

I have 35% of 315 which is plenty of sidewall. I wanted a good riding streetcar tire, not a drag race tire people try to use on the street with a bunch of sidewall. The 315 tire on a 10inch wheel pushes the sidewall out just enough for the extra bit of traction I need and not lose driveability. I also do not want the rear of the car higher, I want to level it out more with the front to improve weight transfer better. I will be doing the front wheels next at some point with tires that will bring the front of the car up a touch. :)

ET45 with a 5mm spacer.

Depending on the tire size, ET offset, rolling fenders would be a good option either way too.

@@sutphintuning9085 17x9.5 offset is 12 or 17x9 ofset is 35 with toyo r88s honestly i want as much tire as i can get without rubbing gonna runna spcer and roll fenders for sure

@@igohardonahoe 12 offset will rub and stick out. You should be ok 17x9 with 35 offset. The 17x10 I used was +45 offset with a 5mm spacer with rolled fender, no rubbing with myself and a passenger in front. But with several people in the back, it rubbed. So I removed the 5mm spacers, modified the support bar about 1/2 inch, and the wheel is tucked in even better with no rubbing so far
