Ate lots of tamarind when growing up, lots in the Philippines..eaten when still green with salt and pepper and when starts to ripen the pulp turns light green in colour, and has a sweetest taste, eat just like that and the seeds are chewable, until till they are fully ripe and brown in colour and the seeds turns very hard and very hard to chew and we just spit out the hard seed..I only knew now after watching the video that the hard seeds has so much benefits.. hopefully countries with lots of TAMARIND have learned from the video and make use of this fruit (pulp and seed) for good health wise.. Thank you for the great info!!!
My mums from Guyana, sadly I’ve never been there. My favourite family sweet is tamarind chilli sweets my grandma would send us. So spicy and sweet if you ate too much you’d be crying in the loo lol but it tasted so good!!!
Hello Ryan, Every week I eat to enjoy " sweet and summer Tamarind" but didn't know could be eaten it's Seeds. I will start eating seeds and will put on my face. I am happy to know all these from you. Your channel's tips are extremely helpful. Zz
We also used the seed to neutralized poison by baking it. Then, break from the middle and put it on the spot where like a scorpion or other poisonous stinged.
In India that too tamilians use both tamarind and seeds. Tamarind with Sea salt turmeric paste was applied on any swelling . Seeds were roasted peeled in a stone grinder and eaten .Oh my india. I am proud.
The distinction between the tamarind seeds and the pulp is unclear in the video. For my knee pain and arthritis fingers, should I use the paste made by its seeds or by its pulp? Please give a clear indication. Many viewers are waiting for your answer. Thank you very much. I tried to buy some tamarind power from Amazon, but the product didn’t indicate it is made from the seeds or from the pulp. It’s really very confusing. I hope you could help me. Thank you very much.
Same here, when I watched the video.. but I think it's the seed he was referring too.. some say to boil and peel the black seed and what's inside of the seed what they make powder and paste from. But it was explained in the video
Feel lucky in a was born and lived for ten years in a natural tamarind environment where we learnt to make porridge with it. These days I eat it by sucking it up in the mouth. Most people can't take it that way though because there teeth 'fall'
Can I eat 10 or 12 tamarind seeds every day?Is it harmful for health? Please reply me.please make video on seveior acidity . This video is very useful.
Don't always listen to doctor, my friend was sick with sore throat and cough after drinking tamarind he's fine but he said that it looks like poop so I don't make it anymore, yuck !
Marie Santher, sure, this way he can sell you some drug. Arthritis drugs are some of the most detrimental for the body, don't take them. Go natural! Use tamarind if it is not helpful, try fasting for a period of 32 hours and then only eat chicken, butter, vegetables and eggs for a few days, that will relieve the inflammation. Do that every time you get arthritis pain until it is gone. It really works.
These is a surprise because these is what we call cori in my country and no body uses it for medical purpose. We children eat it as forest fruit. We were always told not to eat it cause it is acidic and sour. Good to know our instinct was right👍👍
Hubby surprised me with sone tamarind, so I peeled them, boiled them slightly in some water, and then allowed them to cool. Then I took out the seeds out, placed them in a blender, and puree them for a very short time. The reason I treat food like this with such care, is to preserve the nutritional value. However, I wasn't thinking medicinal ay the time - I just LOVE tamarind juice, it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the Caribbean. Anywy, from that concentrate I made some juice. As I was enjoying a glass, my eldest daughter arrived hib'e from work with a terrible headache and stomachache. I offered her don'é juice to be nice, she took a sip to be nice back, and tube first sip took sessi her ailment. She drank the whole glass, but it truly took her headache and tummy ache away almost instantly. Then I had a migraine, and it makes me nauseated, and thank goodness for yube juice. My husband came home with allergies and headaches, I just gave him a glass full, and went up fout a shower. I'm sure he's better by now. Asd child I hd no idea this was so healthy. Because it's sour, I bet you it's really, really good for the liver 😊
DO NOT use tamarind to brush your teeth with! Tamarind is very acidic (which is why it tastes sour). This acidity will break down enamel (even if it does remove stains).
Whenever I eat the Tamarind chutney sauce it makes with food, it makes me go to the bathroom very fast and very softly! Right away! whether I was planning on the bathroom or not! 😝😂😝😂😝😂
I love to eat tamarind like peanuts .I get them at Asian market these days and it sure clean my bowels in annoying way lol too many repeat trips to the toilet 😂. But never knew about using the seeds.
But you’ll put in eye drops from the doctor that are not natural and not organic. These doctors use ppl as guinea pigs, that’s why they say “let’s see how this works”. Go back to nature.
