The ex, he/she is not stubborn. They just don’t see the value in pursuing or contacting. Therefore, they don’t have to drive to do it. Remember the days when they were pursuing you? You were the same person but they saw the value so they pursued you.

Ok guys I am literally laughing right now and I swear to god this is the truth. No contact works. 100% and you guys will laugh at this. It’s worked for me 3 times with the same person. No joke. Hey :( it’s now the second time doing no contact :( first time I did no contact then he reached out but after that I did some mistakes when he reached out we got back together for 6 days and then he broke up with me again.. and I messaged him two weeks ago but he ignored my message and now I’m on the 12th day of no contact... but I think my case is hopeless.. what do you think :( ? Is their hope ? I hope that no contact can work more than one time.. cause he told me that we won’t keep in touch like our first breakup.. so that means he will never reach out !!🥺

If you really believe you have a stubborn ex, then you have a better excuse not to contact that person. Because stubborn people hate to be pushed, or being told to do things. If you reach out to them and try to ask them to meet up with you, they would assume you are trying to get them back but they don’t feel ready yet. Therefore, you will push them further away if you reach out.

Well the girl that broke up with me is anxious and also avoidant. I don't know how stubborn she is, but she is stubborn in whole lot of ways. So you spoke the truth for all (and I don't know if that is the case, but I think not), then mine also will never come back. But then again. I know who I am. She won't find a person like me again. So if she really continues this path, then ultimately Im completely fine with that in a month or 2-3. I think it's quite impossible to have a relationship with her in any case if she did come back. It has to do with how for 1 month straight she ends up with blame gaming, major assumptions that make no sense, completely irrational (not to be reasoned with), no goodwill nor wanting to solve anything, 4destructive, avoidant, her opinionas elevated as her truth and nothing else. And just more of these things. Does this work in an actual wonderful long lasting relationship? No. So. instead she made a 180 turn in these things (which I dont ever think she will), it wont work. So maybe it's even a good riddance and a big lesson. Because I fought way too hard and was standing for our relationship like a rock when she fully didn't.

@@Ptolemy336VV Yup! That's how fearful avoidants are. Childhood traumas somehow make their way into adult relationships. Unless one becomes aware of these attachment style issues and mindfully tackles them, these patterns will keep repeating. The anxious side of the FA wants love (your amazing first 4 months); the avoidant side fears it and sabotages it (the rest is history).

@@Ptolemy336VV Wow, my ex was exactly the same! It's called a fearful avoidant. They are very hard to live with, but also very addictive, because they give you a LOT of affection and emotional depth in the beginning, then start sabotaging the relationship as you come too close for their comfort. I really loved my ex, but it seemed like she would take every little imperfection in the relationship, dissect it, blow it out of proportion and then spin a whole story about how the relationship could never work. It's a subconscious escape strategy, they don't even realize they're doing it. So a month ago, after a fight, my ex basically checked out of the relationship. She had no interest in really talking about it or working on it, especially not from her side, rather she started distancing herself from me in many ways. This brought out my anxious side, I tried to pull her closer, started to get suspicious about some things she was trying to hide from me, and then seemingly out of nowhere she broke up with me (almost 2 weeks ago). I don't think she's ever coming back. But it's her loss, really. For most of the relationship, I was a way better partner (patient, understanding, loving, caring, positive) than she could ever be. I still love her and would give her another chance if she was prepared to do the work, but I don't think that'll happen. And I know deep down that I deserve better. It's just a hard truth to face when you love and miss someone so much...

I agree. I walked away for my own self respect didn't beg. And I believe if a person is that stubborn that they cant even contact you due to ego and self pride, its not worth it. The relationship would never be natural again, Because... this person is constantly gonna be refusing to initiate anything, due to fear of feeling "weak"

Unbelievable smh. NC REALLY works. JUST got a text from my ex 5 MIN ago! It's 30 DAYS to the day! And to top it off, it's the "indirect text". My ex definitely won't reach out. Not only is he full of pride, I cussed him out after he did me wrong by lying, cheating, calling me nasty names yet I stick by him but he felt that I should not call him out on his wrong doings so he discarded me even after I begged. So no he won't reach out to me and I have told myself that I will never hear from him again. He is continuing to talk to other people.

Mine is so passive which is why it threw me off guard when he left. When I asked if he wanted to go to therapy he said “we are great” then bam leaves. I don’t like passive you never know where you stand

My ex was so stubborn she'd break up with her friends and never talk to them ever again UNLESS they approached her.. she's lost some friends. She'd even ignore her parents for weeks until they were the ones to apologise. In all cases, even she was wrong, but would only admit her wrong doings once they approacher her first... so yeah... I think I'm done this time.

My ex is the same. Too much ego and pride on herself that she won't admit her mistakes.I was the first one to break no contact after 3 days and appologize to the mean things I said to her after a bad break up but she was cold and won't talk to me properly and ask to have a one on one talk but she she responded by tellisng lies that she's busy and to contact her some other time so I won't put up with that BS so i left her alone. Post break up, I heard that she admitted that it was her mistake on one of our mutual friends but made me look like underservong for her. What a load of BS!

We were together for about 3 months. It’s been a month after the break up, we’ve chatted a few times since then but I don’t reach out unless she texts me. I asked her out the last time she reached out but she canceled at the last minute due to “a ton of homework”. She hasn’t reached out to me in almost 2 weeks and I think she’s dating someone new

My ex wants to return the promising ring which i gave to her. It's been one week we broke up and actually the broke up was from her side and so I went for No contact period after the break up and it's been just 5 days of my NC my ex called me and asked me how am I doing and all to which I replied cold and calm and then she told me to take my promising ring back to which I responded cold and calm and said Ok fine and i cut the phone from my side !! Well is it over ?? I mean she has completely decided to move on that's why she's returning the ring 💍 !!!! 😥

For me the more my LDR ex reaches out the more I think about not getting back together with him cause he seem so toxic it's like he gets satisfaction out of making me feel bad. He said he missed me at first and he added this emoji 😏. Which is the emoji he uses when he could care less. But I hardly responded to him. The last time he contacted me he tried to make me feel like I looked terrible on Christmas. And he was telling me how single and lonely he is . It felt more like he was like he was trying to set a trap for me. Have me begging for him to take him back because he was the one that dump me. Mind you he dump his ex as soon as she had thier baby. I went full no contact as soon as we broke up. Never reached out and don't want him back. I'm just shocked that he pretended to care for 6 months because he is acting really narcissistic towards me it's hard to picture him like a bitter person. Told him to leave me alone the last time. And never contact me again. I still cannot believe he turned out like this. Never apologised for hurting me. He didn't even break up properly. He asked for space and that was it. As soon as he asked for space I went into no contact. Hardly showed any type of weakness and improved myself. Why does he want me back and why is he trying hard to make me feel bad?

My ex is nice to me in person.Its been 3 months since the break up.We have seen each other 5x at work in this time.The 1st and 3rd time was him being bitter but the last 2x were nice friendly no relationship or break up talk but he still ignores texts or calls.I only text once to see if he would respond but nope so basically ive been NC.Can u do a video on why they act like they still r attracted in person but ignores u too.Thanks to ur videos I learned so much that I dont make mistakes when I do see him. I highly believe that no contact is the best way (since you need to get them out of your life to move on, so dont cling to them, let them be free nd set yourself free) But i just realized, no contact personally never worked for me in that way? Whenever i broke up i was just done with. I of course dont forget them, i still remember, sometimes i wonder, but its not like i miss them or want them back in my life, if that makes sense. but maybe then it depends n the circumstances i suppose... Today I am on the other side of the coin, I was okay the past few days, but i had a dream tonight, that she would come back, which was strange because i never really dream much anyway. I took that as a sign, that i need to keep working on myself. I subconsciously still miss her. But we only broke up in December, so I know its okay. I need time. I am usually not sad anymore tho..more angry even though i dont wanna be. We all make mistakes and its neither her nor my fault really i suppose

I have a couple of questions which could maybe be a theme for some future videos. 1 Is it possible to decide to break up with someone even if you are still in love with this someone? For examples because, for some reasons, you are not happy as you used to be or have doubts about the relationships you are unable to solve? 2 Depression or being not satisfied with your life can make you decide to break up with your partner since you feel you are too weak to go on, or because you are too focused on your own life to take care of someone else? Or it's just an excuse because, if you truly love someone, you twant this someone to be by your side no matter what? 3 If you beg someone who want to break up with you to tell you "I'm not in love with you anymore" but this person doesn't wanna say it, it can mean this person has actually still feelings for you and wanna leave the door open? And what if your ex never asked you about the things you left at his place? 4 Speaking frankly, do you think there is a limit beyond which it's impossible your ex to reach out again? I mean... if you don't listen from him for one, two, six months or more... there is actually still a chance? The door is closed forever or it can be opened again anytime? Thank you!

1. Of course 2. If you are feeling depressed I would reach out to your local therapist. Being focused on your life is never a bad thing! Take care of YOU first! If the other person truly loves you, they'll understand. 3. Couldn't decipher this one, please re-write. 4. I've seen cases where an ex reached out a year later.

The Love Chat Thank you for your answer and sorry for my bad english. I'll try to reformulate the third question. Let's say we have two people, A and B, and person A want to break up with person B. A says " Don't think I don't love you anymore, I'm just afraid we could be unhappy in the future being together". B answers " You don't need to lie. If you don't love me anymore please say it clearly". A says "No, I wish I wouldn't love you anymore cause now it would be easier but I love you as much as before...". B says" I would appreciate you to say you don't love me anymore because saying what you are saying you give me a false hope". Person A still doesn't say it but answers that he can't say something he doesn't think. If A feels the need to break up why just doesn't lie to B saying he is not in love anymore? Wouldn't it be easier and better for both? Isn't it selfish? How can A expect B to understand his decision if A keep saying "I love you, I love you"? Don't you think it's normal for B to don't give up on A? Plus, B has several things to A's home. A never asked to B to go to bring them and neither A is gonna send them to B by mail. Is it possible that person A is, maybe unintentionally, leaving a door open?

It is possible to love someone, and not want to be with them. The feeling is highly conflicting for both sides of the breakup. It sounds like this person does love you, and perhaps isn't entirely sure of their choice. I would remain in no-contact, work on yourself, and if you hear from them we can go from there.

@@jetclntn Haven't gotten a reply since either so you're not alone. In my case, you'd think 4 yrs would mean something, but to women it's more about attraction levels. I still think about my ex but I feel way better than I did months back. I've learned so much about myself and what I want. In the mean time just be the best version of yourself. Don't put your life on hold for one person that doesnt want to be in your life anymore. It's their loss for skimping out on you.

2 years into our relationship. I tried going abroad for better opportunities. We tried LDR. 9 months in, she cheated on me. She dumped me for that person. Tried begging and pleading and didnt know no contact at that time. She's very stubborn and doesnt want to talk to me. Gonna come back home this September to talk things out. Well she turned up at my house today on the pretext that her friend owed me money so she came to pay it ? 7 weeks to the day since last contact. We held each other, she said she still loved and missed me, I asked her about the current man ( customer ) and she said that no, she doesn't love him it's just about money ? She said they'd been out last night, got drunk and for some reason she couldn't stop thinking about me all night ? She was here about 30 minutes but said she had to go and I could see she was looking a bit emotional so we had a last good long kiss and she went. Confused does not even come close to how I feel now !

My ex dumped me when I was on a two month motorcycle trip. I was 2000 miles away. I was nice about it on the phone, said, "If you change you mind let me know" and then went no contact. It's been 2.5 months. She contacted me about something else via text, and I asked her to come over and bring a steak. She agreed, then cancelled saying her car,was giving her trouble. I replied, " too bad... maybe another time, keep in touch ". And went no contact again. This girl is very stubborn. I believe she feels guilty and won't abandon her pride. What else can I do? I feel like re inviting her to come over with the steak. Ideas?

My ex is stubborn by that I mean she has an alpha female type this comes from her 40 years working in hospitality management positions so she is strong and her childhood was seeking validation from.her father who didn't show her love...he was old school type with the attitude the man works the wife raises the family. My ex girlfriend and I are both 59 and we had 2 years together it was a mixture of love and great times but we clashed often over trivial matters she doesn't like criticism or challenging her views and never use the word disappointed in her direction that would set her off. I tried to talk about getting back together 2 weeks after the breakup but she didn't believe me when I said I still loved her she also said that she would lose face with family and friends if she was to give me another chance. I don't share my feelings with other friends when it comes to problems in a relationship but she tells everyone so I must have been made out to be a bad guy and she couldn't see herself taking me back after announcing our split to everyone I have been in no contact 4 weeks and I'm.better now over time but I think about her every day and wonder will she find someone new or reconsider us ...anyone taking on my ex in a relationship will need to be understanding and handle her strong personality

Cam Kovalec just send streaks back, but don’t start a conversation and keep snapping her, at some point she’ll use it as a way to start a conversation. Been through it before. Mine done the same thing. She obviously misses u and you’ll probably end up back with her. But don’t break no contact, other than sending streaks.

Great video! I had my ex call me 8 days ago and I ignored it because it was such a stretch of an excuse! Although, Roy, my ex just reached out to be to say happy birthday and it gets better, my ex's mother messages through Facebook messenger to say happy birthday as well. I'll try to make this short but I've been seeing your videos and I did some mistakes lol I was shocked because I never expected for her to reach out. Yes, she did break up with me on the 31st of May 2019. I found out that there was third party. She never reached out for two months. I did break no contact rule in mid August. Yes, I did made her feel guilty in person along with telling her the truth about why have so many people involved in our relationship along with this third party and this what kept you from reaching out to me due to having your hands tied. She did admit she was seeing somebody and obviously, maybe in a rebound relationship. I deleted my social media to focus on myself. We haven't spoken for two months until my bday which was this past Sunday where she said happy birthday with cake and a smile emoji. I did say " hey great hearing from you and thank you!!. I didn't want to be mean and not reply so I did it in a mutual and nice way. Since then, no reply. We were together for 3 years and known each for 4. The reason why I never expected her to contact me was because I thought she would be upset by the truth I told her. Hope you discuss this topic, please lol

But what if after no contact she sends you a love letter but then you contact her and she said she missed you and loves me then she wants to be friends but I say no and she already has someone new and then I tell her that they are never going to hear from me again but you called them and they get mad because you said that your never talking to them again but now they said that and they don't call you for a week or more what does ?

It sounds like you told her you were going no contact in an effort to get some sort of reaction out of her. You then went back on your word. You can't show her this hot/cold behavior. Alpha males/females do not beg/bargain, you must walk and never look back. If she reaches out, set a date. If she won't set a date, tell her to reach out to you if she changes her mind.

Doesn't want to commit nor work on being civil to each other.the breakup was enough to hurt me but the pain of the things he said after the breakup even being very unapologetic about the things he said when we have conversations is completely unnecessary.

Hey so her friend actually reached out 4 weeks ago on Instagram asking if I miss my ex, I replied with I do. They left me on read and 5 days ago her cousin reached out to me and asked if I missed my ex. I haven't opened the message or anything so it doesn't say `seen`. I'm not sure what to do. All I know is to not reply and fall for the same trick. We broke up on Nov 9 of this year. Also I forgot to mention that she had her brother call me about a week or 2 before the first message, I asked to speak to her and she just kept saying that she's happy now and that she moved on and that she's my loss. I said well I'm happy for you. She Also recently liked one of my IG posts and stopped talking to the guy she was happy with a few days ago.
