I’ve been a rat, I’d wait until a teammate is at a place, like fort Narith, follow his route from the lz, let him drop an ai, then I pick up an ai kit, push to grab the quest item, then all out send it and die without going back to that ai kit, I only spent money on meds, and got 120 missions done doing this. The missions where I have to get kills I kit up, but it’s easy to sneak and dodge bullets on those pick up intel tasks so I just run and grab and die then I don’t waste time for heli. I’m on my last mission but basically sped run my tasks. Once I complete this last mission, then I am free to just go where the PvP fully kitted.
@@ttarxxbetter yet take the mag and pistol grip off of rifles and you can store the whole gun as one slot wide. If you have the delta bag you can carry a lot
great tips but i have to ask, ar you playing with a controller? your fine aiming controls when scoped seem like its either a controller or your sensitivity is way to high
Reasons to not gear fear in this game: 1. You can buy almost everything back, except for the ones you haven't unlock or some specific items not sold by any vendor. It's only a matter of time until you get them back. And money is not a problem in this game. 2. You can go back and retrieve them, provided they're not already looted. If you're playing pve then more often than not you will get them back. And if you're playing pvp then chances are you have nothing to fear. 3. Most of the "higher tier" loots you find are usually not that that much better compared to what you can buy from the vendors. Even if you absolutely need them, they're not very hard to come by.
Yeah, I wish there was more a risk. I never have those heart pounding moments like I did in Tarkov because I can just go back and get my kit. They need to have higher tier loot or make everything more expensive
@@ttarxx Right now there are not many benefits of looting. Most of the things lying around map are either worthless or bad. And some things that are actually good usually take up a lot of space. But I still like the idea of being able to buy my gears back. So until you run out of money, you can still keep playing without asking strangers for donations.
The best idea according to my preferences is that lootable items should be mostly valuables like jewelries, phones, etc. Sometimes you can get extremely good gears but keep them to a minimum. This way, looting is usually just for money and with that money, they can buy what they want. This'll make it more beginner friendly and the game will focus more on combat than just looting.
@@ttarxx Btw I just completely lost a decent loadout lol. I tried solo clearing midnight's saphire and unluckily got on tapped by an npc. I went back to retrieve my stuff but a guy was just standing there guarding my dead ass body and one tapped me again. Sucks when you die a second time, your body id automatically deleted but I guess it gives the game somewhat of a thrill.
Gear fear is just unavoidable, as we are only given gear 3 kits, so it's game over once you lost all 3 kits. I lost one of my kits already so I run with knife only, hoping to find a gun I can bring back home, but I have not been able to survive a run so far. Everybody always says don't have gear fear, but nobody ever talks about what to do if you lose all your gear. I was hoping to find an answer in this video.
@@ttarxx SP is decent against unarmored targets but quickly becomes useless outside the starter towns. US ammo is practically airsoft BB's, also the only ammo ai carries. (I think this one is bugged, TTK is wildly long) PS is decent but costly to buy, on par with m855 penetration BP is very good but expensive and most people would have switched off AK's completely before they unlock it 7.62's problem is that there is no way to reliably farm good free ammo like with 5.45 PP and m855. Another issue is there is no way to upgrade the accuracy of the AK's yet. You're stuck with 3 moa which starts leading to missed mid-long range shots that aggro the AI.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on one bit. Don't keep healing items in the Secure Container as it's not a "quick access slot" (shown by the little lightning bolt next to the belt, plate carrier, etc). I'd recommend keeping the QRKit in yer belt along with one Mfak, and one or two more in the cargo pants pockets so you can access them from the "Hold H" dropdown menu.
I only keep a qrkit in my secure container to have a blood and a surgery kit in it, maybe a splint. I keep bandages and pain pills in my quick access slots tho.
If you're in a situation where you have enough time to use surkit or blood, then you have enough time to open your inventory briefly and click two times. If you're getting shot up, the only stuff you need in quickslot are bandages, tourniquet, and painkillers.
Anyone else not able to heal teammates when healing items are in containers in a lightning slot? I have to put them directly in my pockets / belt / rig to heal a downed teammate
@@Jestyr129 haha I get shot quite a bit as well, it’s either I get one tapped or just bleeding most of the time for me. So I almost never use surkits. I have so many in my stash lol
