Arghhh! two days trying to find these fish only to work out they had moved north. We travelled 180km in a single day in the Suzuki equipped bar crusher trying to find these fish. Big day, without the big results we had hoped for. Cant win them all (or any at the moment).

Hi. What model game rod (up to $600) would you recommend to fit the Shimano Tiagra 30WLRSA with Braid whilst trolling for tuna ?

Hey man you don't need to spend that much at all. Just a 15-24kg backbone elite will be absolutely fine. Spending more will make no difference.

@@BaitBallin thank you. Your thoughts on the Wilson Live Fibre Game Rod in the same 15-24kg class?

Honestly haven't used them enough to comment. I generally stick with Shimano rods

You know what they say…the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work! Nice boat anyway!

The fish were never off Batemans Bay. They were North between Jervis Bay and Kiama

The easiest way to find the fish is work out where I am fishing, then go some where else

@@BaitBallin bad luck mate seems that way when you are dragging lures all day. There are plenty of yellowfin south of Jervis now. Check out the charts.

yeah, most people don't realise that real fishing shows will spend up to 2-3 weeks at a destination to catch their target species. and they film it as of they caught it first day out

@@BaitBallin There was an interesting comment on iFish one time where Paul Worsteling pretty much said the same thing. Something about not showing the 8hrs they spent on the water the day before with nothing. A donut day on the water is better than any day at work!
@BaitBallin

Yeah he spends 8 hours, hook Line and sinker spends 3 weeks
