This board is Stella S3, one of Acedeck's entry-line models. The Stella S3 was an ST-type electric longboard with some distinct features of its own. If you are looking for a lightweight ST-type electric longboard with strong torque, good stability, and decent range, I think it will be a good option too.
Can you do a video with Waterbourne Surf Adapters mounted to one of your promo boards, maybe the Meepo Voyager? I've been riding these adapters since they came out, on analog boards that is, but I have a FIN system mounted on my Voyager and it is really fun. Very stable at speed and super carvy all at once. It makes the Voyager very tall so I run very hard bushings in the trucks and let the adapters do all the work, with really hard fat cones on the rear rail to tone the lean down since the height creates leverage. There is still full range and it carves more than any dkp trucks I have, and is really stable. It would be really cool to get your particular, nuanced take on these on eskate and from watching all your videos I think you would really like it. Thanks from USA!
There is so much choice this year, it's going to be very hard which one to choose. As always, thank you for every video being so detailed and excellent without bias and love doggy😅
Great reviews! I like how they are to the point and detailed. Acedeck rocks! I have an Ares x1 2wd that I bought about 4 months ago ahd have put about 400 miles on it no issues. I love my board. Acedeck is very responsive on faceobook to any questions. I have also purchased extras from Acedeck twice and both times they arrived from China in about 2 weeks. not bad at all! I love Acedeck and im really hoping they build a large capacity battery board with the battery on bottom something like a kali XLR. or.... If my Ares X1 had a 1500 watt hour battery and a bigger belly that would be ok with me.. hint hint Acedeck. They already have a pretty impressive line up of boards though.
@@KAMiJUINs There is a new board by Acedeck called the Stella Mini. You should review it and recommmed to the team that they add tail and nose guards to the board.
I'm between this and the Nomad N1 for a good beach cruiser board as a sailboat guy. For zipping around islands what board would be your pick? Excellent video!
@@NateSail82yes they do, but if you’re going to be on rough pavement larger diameter really does change the game when hitting bumps & holes etc. I think the lightest, most flexible (but also lowest range) all terrain board may be the Backfire Ranger. It also has hub motors which resist sand & grit better than belt motors
In my experience, the ride was more comfortable with the S1, and the power performance was better with the Polestar. I think you should go with the one that suits your preferred riding style.~ :)
From my point of view, there is no difference in power performance between the S3 and the Mini. However, since the deck is different and there is a difference in wheelbase, I think there will be a lot of difference in movement. I'm curious because I haven't ridden a mini yet.~
Tynee Ultra Belt Motor ($499) (12S 50.4V 337Wh) vs Acedeck Stella S3 Electric ($499) (13S2P 54.6V High Voltage "Best A Class" 374Wh Samsung 40T battery) Is the Stella S3 clearly better for the same price? Tynee seems to have good customer experience while Acedeck doesn't use hobbywing ESC so unsure if it's maybe just better on paper
I think torque is more important. There are not many places to use top speed when using it on a daily basis, but there are often moments when torque is needed. That's why I said the Acedeck one better.
Thanks for the response again! You've helped me make my decision I'll use your discount code, I hope you get a portion/commission! Edit: the discount code in description JUINS isnt working so I tried KAMI and it worked just an FYI for the description
It's difficult to choose one because both have different charms for each board. However, in my experience, if you want to choose a board that is okay in all aspects, Envy, and if you want to feel more powerful torque and stable movement, S3 seems to be suitable.
@@KAMiJUINs thank you for the reply my friend, I’ve been binge watching your videos haha. How did the build quality compare between the two? And is the envy slower but with a higher top speed? Or is it just the acceleration curve is smooth? Sorry for all the questions, just interested to know as much as I can about the envy as I have ordered one.
You’re missing the point- this is a replication of a PERFECT formula created by Boosted Boards years ago- a flexi-deck street surfer longboard with smooth sticky wheels, that’s not too big & heavy to pick up one handed. The board shapes are all similar so we can grab the corners with our heels & toes as we carve up those roads… 🏄🏻
