Hi Granny Pat. I had surgery last week and have been on the couch resting all week, and you've been such a blessing to me. I can't visit with my grandma because she lives in heaven now, but it sure is comforting to visit with you instead. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God bless.❤
I love my fruits and veggies. I love to listen and watch and learn. You have such a wonderful voice and accent. I’d bet you could read short stories for a good income with a podcast or a voice person for such things. ❤ u❤
I love pears and apples. The fruit dip is so delicious. Oh how I love watching your channel. You are an absolute doll. You remind me of my grandmother 100%. Granny Pat I just want to hug you tight and sit with you and talk about everything. You are an angel on earth. God bless you!
Hi Granny Pat, I really admire your recipes, and I love listening to the wisdom and stories from your past. Your humble nature and positive energy are truly inspiring.
Hi granny Pat, hope life has been treating you well. Im still kicking. Somedays I feel more like one of my cats. Stay home sleep eat use the litter box sometimes don’t make it to litter box. Miss my grand daughters the 3 are in school now so I don’t see them much. The baby had to go to daycare because moms maternity is over. This time mom cried alot dropping her off. I was praying all night she would get through it. I could have left my babies like she has to do. But she close by and all the ladies came out from the school to her and hugged her. They remember her from the older girls. So they prayed for her which is what gave me comfort. Since I can’t drive to her for comfort these days. Isn’t life funny if we are lucky that god hears are prayer right away. Any who I’m checking in just to say hello and glad to see your still going strong here. I bought a few antique painted lace basket looking bowls to put a big soap bar in for Christmas gifts for my helpers from Portugal. A little something from home I’m sure they miss family there. But I think of you now when I buy antique dishes now. Mostly for gifts now. I was going to tell you something about that part circle chopping tool you showed. I believe I had something similar and I’m sure you already know and use it fine your way you showed. I would put lettuce or cabbage and you put food on chopping board and rock that curved chopper back and forth till you get the chop size you want. I hope that makes since. 😊. Well beautiful Pat you keep it up love Ruby Lee your fan from East Coast.
Hi. I want to say how much I love the orange blouse you are wearing. It looks orange but maybe red? I love it. Also, I truly enjoy your stories and cooking. I love your soothing voice. I lost my grandma very young so I've adopted you. Lol
Hi Granny Pat! You are such a joy to watch! I love all the recipes and stories and instructions you say along the way. Truly a blessing to all and especially those who don’t have a grandma as creative and fun! That color looks pretty on you! Have a beautiful blessed evening!☺️
I immediately subscribed after watching your dumplings video. People can get their relaxing hearing those wierd ASMR but your videos relax me and remind me of what's important in life.
Hey Granny Pat you are looking beautiful, thanks for sharing your life with us 😊 and your delicious recipes 😋I have a blouse just like the one you have on ❤the apple and pear trey is beautiful and looks delicious 😋
Get you a smaller bowl for your fruit dip then you'll have plenty of your for your fruit slices. Everything looks good G Pat . Wish I was there to help you eat those lovely sandwiches and fruit. Grapes are also really good in that dip. Ummm kiwi too ❤️
Oh my 22yr old granddaughter would love your kitchen with your jadeite, Bakelite, and Fostoria. She has just really gotten into collecting vintage dishware.
That looks beautiful Granny Pat! And, I didn't know about the pineapple juice trick, I hate the lemon taste too. Thank you for all these wonderful recipes. Blessings! ~Tammy
I'm a new viewer, I'm from Louisville, Kentucky and seeing your kitchen reminds me of my auntie's kitchen. I loved the times we spent together in her kitchen. She could cook like no one I know. Her meals were always a huge meal. Thank you so much for your time. I will be binge watching your videos.
Granny Pat I love every episode and wait with bated breath. Your bathroom looks still looks great. Just glue that peeling wallpaper back down. You are a wonderful crafter so if anyone can do it you can. You were ahead of your time choosing the buffalo check. I made your chicken salad, and it was delicious. I added tarragon and suggest you try it. I made your broccoli cheese soup and it was so good. You and Jan are lucky ladies. I am so glad you unleashed yourself on the World. What took you so long?
They got tired of hearing me say “I’m bored to death!” So they set me up with a utube channel and said,”Now, start telling stories and stop being bored.” And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! LOL
Wow, how delicious everything looks. I will have to go grocery shopping tomorrow. You are a delight to watch; I was holding my breath a few times when you were using your sharp knife. Thanks for bringing joy to our days Granny Pat.
Wait a minute Granny Pat. When I lived in Knoxville a few years ago UK was UT’s biggest rival. Haha. Now this Granny Pat is in Charleston. In 2011 I went West to East and now am Southeast. I’m going to try this! I love your videos. I became Granny Pat January 3, 2020 and my granddaughter was born at the AFB in Fairbanks, Alaska. I didn’t get to see her until last summer cause of covid. My dad wanted a Patti so that’s how I became Granny Pat. You have sisters but I don’t. I have 5 brothers. Can hardly wait to try this! Thanks for the video.
This is a great way spend my Saturday afternoon getting caught up on your previous videos! Just subscribed yesterday, so I've got plenty to look forward to! Benedictine finger sandwiches are a great snack for the holidays! The thing is, I don't know anyone to entertain so I guess I'll have to eat them all myself! Perhaps I'll fix me a plate of them for Thanksgiving for me, myself and I. 😅 🎉
Hello Pat,I could almost taste the Benedictine sandwiches and the beautifully prepared apples and pears dip.Especially liked your tip of using pineapple juice instead of lemon juice to prevent Browning of fruit,I'll be using that information! Thank you so much!👍💕
Yummy! My Mom/Grandmother made these sandwiches when I was a little girl, they are so good! Never knew how to make them, or what they were called, I just called them cucumber sandwiches. Thank you for sharing this, brings back memories, I will now have to make them too!!! 💕🌷
The first time I tasted Benedictine, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I went to three years of high school in Louisville and graduated from duPont Manual. One of the grocery stores we went to sold prepared Benedictine during Derby time. After I graduated, we moved from Louisville to a different state, so no more Benedictine. Thank you for this great video with the recipe and history of this delicious treat.
Granny Pat, I just discovered your videos only this week. I've watched several and I'm a new subscriber. The "trigger" on the corer is to release the core without your having to handle it, or work to remove it otherwise. I'm enjoying your show. Cheers!
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 Haha, Hey we've all been there. I love how comfortable you are letting strangers into your kitchen. And it appears you have a pretty darn big fan base, I'm not surprised. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I'll keep watching.
I just love watching you and listening to you as well! I just discovered you over the weekend! I actually respond to some of your questions! Granny Pat, you relax me and cheer me too! I wish I could give you a big ole bear hug! I just love how calm you are too! And sweet! You're so sweet! May God Bless You!🙏😋😀💕
I love watching Princess Pat in that kitchen! I have had that marizetti dip and it is good. Have you tried the strawberry flavored dip that they carry? Yumtastic! Your little sandwiches look great! I have many an old cookbook and they all have little sandwich recipes in there! Having company and proper entertaining was so popular back then! Today, more people get together over bbq grills and dining out. I definitely miss the old days! I love seeing the Fostoria and Jadeite being used! ❤ Great video and have you noticed that peach tops are also your cooking tops? 😃 I think you have worn peach tops in several of your cooking videos! They all look great on you! This one is super cute! Love it! ❤ Looking forward to more Princess Pat videos! 🤗
I enjoyed watching this video, looks so good, gonna have to try, ya made me hungry and made me smile when you said 15 or 20 minutes those little sandwiches wouldn't be on the plate lol, ❤
Thank you for sharing these 2 appetizers with us. They look really good. I didn't know you could use pineapple juice to keep your apples and pears from turning brown. That's good to know. Love you!❤
Lovely presentation, Miss Pat. I remember when I was little that Mother would make the little sandwiches for Women's Circle. 😊 She used chicken salad, Kraft pimento spread, and Kraft pineapple spread. You know the ones... in the little juice jars. Made a colorful plate. She also put the pineapple spread on celery sticks. You brought back good memories. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hi Granny Pat! Thanks for telling us about using pineapple juice to prevent browning. Great tip. You made me hungry eating your attractive appetiziers. Another great job and you looked pretty in the orange top. I will be trying both recipes. 😊
I’m going to make these and take to a friend whose husband just came home from the hospital with back surgery. What a refreshing treat it will be. Thanks so much!!
Playing with your food 😉! Lol! Great idea for a snack, and I never knew I could use pineapple juice to keep fruit from turning brown. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great video through and through because of you!💖 I definitely took note and I'm going to try my hand at these two recipe gems💎 ... getting my Mise-en-Place for holiday ideas 🙂
The melon baller is absolutely the best and easiest way to core an apple. I never thought of the lemon lime soda to prevent browning. Of course that will work. Brilliant!
These dishes look so yummy! I love the idea of pineapple juice instead of lemon juice! I like the look of that Benedictine sandwich spread. I have to try that for my Thanksgiving gathering.❤
Granny Pat, you have my stomach growling! That is yummy and beautiful! So festive for Christmas!!! 🎉❤ I love your videos. You inspire me to try harder and do more!
I am almost 74 and still haven’t learned my lesson as yet either. I’ve made many little slices on my fingers through the years. Thankfully I still have all my fingers 🤞
President Kennedy used pepperidge farm white bread just like you're using. .he liked it toasted with butter and orange marmalade for breakfast...in fact it was part of his last meal he had unfortunately..... Love your videos Pat 😊
You can also use 7 up or sprite to prevent apples from turning brown. When our deli department made fruit trays that's what we used and that dip is in the produce department.Deli also uses that dip with our fruit trays.
I have a lettuce knife made of the same material. It prevents the lettuce from turning brown around the edges. Thanks for the video. I love watching you in the kitchen but your stories are what draws me to your channel! ❤️🇨🇦🙏
Thank you, granny Pat! We do our cucumber finger sandwiches a little different. Same ingredients, we just smear the bread with cream cheese & softened butter. Then add cucumber& onion mixture. My aunt’s old recipe. ❤
Fans of Granny Pat: remember we have to let the ads run through and not skip them! This way she gets a little bit of revenue. Thought I’d remind everyone, since I have to remind myself from hitting the “Skip” button! 🙂
Granny pat, thank you soo very much for these recipes.. I am a fairly new subscriber, & the sandwich recipe I had not seen before. Thank you for thinking about us new subbies! Great great video! Much love to you ! ❤😊❤
