Our Canalboat in a Perfect Storm!
Join us on our narrowboat Dunworkin as we continuously cruise the Inland Waterways of England and Wales. In this video we continue our journey back to Canal and River Trust waters.
Today we continue travelling upstream on the River Nene, where our canalboat is in a perfect storm.
We leave our mooring at Oundle Cruising Club and take a short cruise to the FOTRN Peartree Farm moorings. On the way we negotiate 3 locks and encounter a group of swimmers in the River. We stay at PearTree Farm for 48hours and experience one of the hottest days of the year and a Perfect Storm!
The next leg of our journey takes us through Thrapston where the nine arched bridge is the approximate location where the pronunciation of the River changes. So far downstream to its outfall it has been the River Neen but going upstream to its source it is now the River Nen!
After ascending another 4 locks we moored at one of our favourite moorings, the FOTRN Woodford Moorings.

We have self funded our RU-vid channel
