Huge shoutout for Jimmy Hinson's music in this series. How he managed to meld grand sweeping orchestral with on-brand chiptune is just brilliant and heartwarming and I love every vista shot even more for it. This series is so ambitious and paying off with every episode!

Ironically, even over a decade ago Gamestop often sold childhood me the wrong disc in the box. I was trying so hard to find the open world mode in Need for Speed Underground, as described on the Need for Speed Underground *2* box...

I'm guessing that Ben is putting his bardic points into learning how to sing Bard's Song, Beej is picking up a level in artificer in the hopes that it will translate into car knowledge, James is investing in car driving skills to learn drifting, Alex is putting his points into Dark Souls references, Ian is also going into artificer because every team needs two, Adam is leveling up in Warrior just in case, and Graham is putting all his XP points into patience.

I'm really enjoying this series. Not only is the content good, but I think this may be the most ambitious production job LRR has taken on and it's going really well. I'd love to see some behind-the-scenes stuff. The drone shots, the chase car, etc. I hope someone was filming Graham during all this as well. :)

This show is *so freaking* good, you guys! I'm so happy to see how it came together. I honestly was getting worried for you all on those winding mountain roads (and then I had to remind myself that this was filmed a while ago and you all got back safely), and I really love the fact that after a roadtrip like this (the "crucible of friendships"), you are all still clearly great friends.

The only thing that disappoints me ever so slightly so far, is I was hoping there’d be a bit more “this is what the place we stayed is like” and “we got this food”. I know it’s not a travel vlog per se, but it would have been neat all the same :)
