This is my DIY 2200mAh 3S 1P Li-Ion battery pack. The main connector of the battery is XT60. For making this battery pack I soldier the batteries, this method is not very good because heat can damage the performance of the battery, the best method is spot welding dut I don't have any spot welding machine that's why I soldier the batteries. Then I wrap the pack with heat shrink which gives it a professional look.
The result of this test is very unique, I am getting about 5 mins of flight time but it is not optimal for racing drone because of its low discharge rate. That's why when I punch the throttle the low discharge rate decrease the performance of the drone. Eventually, the battery pack becomes very hot.
It is best for RC Plane or low power hungry Drone. Just for example DJI also uses Li-Ion battery.

Hi bro I have a quad with spec 920kv motor with 1045 propeller Apm2.8 30a esc simonk Djif450 frame M8n GPS and fsi6 to and rx Currently I'm using 11.1v 2200mah battery Ian getting a flight time of 3 min when I hang my mobile phone to record video without gimbal Can u plz suggest which li ion cells should I use and in which configuration Pls help me out

If 18650's can support 4 motors, will it also be able to support a 1400kv motor with 70% efficiency, attached to a 30/40 Amp ESC??????

I am using this 3s battery for running 1400kv bldc motor but one of the end battery is getting discharged soon and also when I start the motor and increasing its speed to maximum then in few 2-3 seconds of max value its speed is getting low to half of its max value Can you resolve this issue? What shall I do?

But 18650 Li-Ion cells have a 1-C discharge rate...... How can it then support a quad??????

for this kind of quad its not perfect the battery become very hot after the flight because of low discharge rate this can be fix by adding another parallel battery

@@prathameshkalaskar9250 flying machines is the worst shop i have ever seen .price is very high and a very low quantity of products and I want 120c tattu battery with a burst rating of 240c whereas in flying machines website only 35c batteries are available.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

My 10s Envie NiMH battery pack could support a 2500kv motor connected to a 40 Amp ESC........ Can these too??? If yes, then why are we advised to buy LiPo batteries for RC planes and copters????

lipo support high discharge rate that's why lipo is perfect for racing quad but for long stable flight Li-Ion is more suitable because of it's high energy density.
