I feel sorrier for him than J & E who sometimes came across as kids who just want to rebel and don't want to listen to anyone. He seems more genuine both in the telling of his story and in expressing his feelings. When he said "I want to be somebody", that hit me so hard. Don't we all. I pray he too gets his chance.
Yes that statement " I just want to be somebody says it all !!! I teach at a alternative school here in SC and I see many kids who are so hurt and broken. Many of them just need love and nurturing.I hope this young man connects with someone who can show him the way to becoming somebody.
After watching this, I realize this young man is just a kid himself. Emily and josius were his lifeline in those streets and now I'm worried about his well-being. He seemed like he was street savvy in the vid with the fancy coat. But he is just as vulnerable and naive. I hope there is some resolve with him. I feel good about this one. Awww…. He looked so heartbroken when you mentioned that Josias and Emily went home. I bet he was roaming around looking for them the whole time. I like the fact that he takes accountability for some of the things he has done. The lies though 😂. I hope he gets off the street and gets help (and reunited with his 2 friends one day). He knew his friends left when he found Emily's letter. However he was shocked that they really left so soon, and while he was in the mental institution. He's probably the friend that dude was talking about stealing when he approached them about the bad friends they had stealing. He gonna have to stop burning all his bridges and get a job to support himself. He can do it, he has potential. Praying for his safety and well being. Hopefully he can live in a warm home ASAP.

This has got to be a parents worst nightmare, passing away while your child is still young and them having to fend for themselves because no one else can be there for them like you. God-willing, He’s going to get through this. We,as viewers should not just be moved, but be inspired to do more to try and help. Marcus is doing great things as is, giving them exposure, but he’s just one man. I’d be willing to brainstorm and discuss some possible solutions. You're right. These youngsters need to be set on the right path for long-term success, because giving money alone will only help for a little while- they need to be able to continuously generate it. I'm glad Marcus brought up Job Corps.

Please keep us updated on Christopher. I hope you are willing to help him get into a shelter or job corp is even a great idea for him. Not sure if he has a record, but maybe he can look into joining the army. He's young enough where he can turn his life around, but he needs some guidance. I appreciate you being out there and helping the young black youth! Continue to be their mentor and someone they can confide in. I just have one piece of advice and I hope you don't take this the wrong way. When you ask personal info like the names or locations of their family members, you should bleep out at least the last names and locations because there are some crazy people in this world. This situation is worse.....Josias had ppl checking for him and just didnt want the help. This kid really might not have anybody who cares. Family living in Atlanta and nobody has seen this or come to his aid

You know what really grinds my gears is that there parents can claim them on there tax returns I think up until 22. So they getting at least a couple thousands depending on how many kids they got. And I bet most don’t even put it aside for their children in a savings.
Honestly I really don’t get how these parents have all these kids and just kick them out and forget about them. I don’t have kids, but I was running from an abusive household and moved out at 18 in 2016 and got my place working 2 jobs. Honestly since he’s running solo, he should just go to the covenant house or other shelters for young adults. Things take time but he won’t be the only one trying to make thing work. Damn😢 he really looks sad.
Girl me too left didn't look back fled to las vegas in 2016 and these videos get me with the youngins cus I was there! By the grace of God never homeless tho. This is no disrespect to Chris. And in no way was I referencing the seriousness of this entire situation. We all realize how dire his situation is and I'm not taking from that at all.
Thank you, Marcus, for mentoring these homeless youngsters out in the street. We need more resources for which we can refer youngsters under 21 to housing and training for jobs.
Tht is called jobcorps I went to jobcorps it was a great opportunity but u must really want to change your life. A lot of kids would test u and it’s very like jail but when u r finish and u put in the work u r going to prosper

Wow, I feel bad for him. His heart sank when he heard about Josias and Emily. Marcus, help him so he can go off the streets. He needs to link back with family and get some help. He is so young and tired. You can see he has some mental health issues going on. He needs love and nurture. He also needs a warm coat, gloves and socks. It's getting cold.

How he’s taking accountability means a lot but when we said he wanted them to wait for him touched me deeply theres so many homeless kids it’s something I didn’t realize until this channel they are so young 🙏🏽 He is so sad his facial expression the way he’s speaking this is crazy maybe he want to live in a condo on a beach is why he’s saying this I honestly see potential in him bc I like how he’s actually listening to you and taking things in

I'm down south in Fort Lauderdale, Florida... I'm not too far from where he's from! I'm praying he gets back and I'm willing to try and help. I'm a Uber/Lyft driver here and always in the area in Miami.
Maybe he can go to a Job Corps. Center, in Gorgia. They have many locations, if there is nowhere else for him to go. At least he will learn a skilled trade and be off the streets.
Now I’m kinda feeling like maybe all three of them should’ve stuck it out, tried to get jobs somehow and create a roommate living situation. But I know that’s only wishful thinking and it’s not that easy when you don’t have an address to begin with. Dang I really hope his grandma is still here 🥺🥺
They put him an stabilization unit for only 5 days is ridiculous! He need at least 14 days to get stable on his meds....The whole State of Georgia needs to be,look at for treating mental patients like this..ijs..

They had become a family. These kids, yes kids didn't ask to come into this world. Feral animals take better care of their young. No guidance to teach them how to survive and become healthy happy adults. These kids are out on the streets like Wednesday's trash. How can a mother sleep at night not knowing where her child is laying his head!? Dear God look after these children.

I REALLY want to help him as much as I can! Especially being a fellow South Floridian and a 100 % disabled female Veteran. Me and my family would definitely take him in if he's willing to help himself and know his back story... They have told so many different stories and I'd just like to know the TRUTH!

@@splashylife5695 it's going to be extremely difficult for James to help Josiah with an add on like Emily. I understand how important it was ro get Josiah off of the streets, and Emily assisted; however, she would be headed back to Kentucky ASAP. Too many barriers and for James to handle. I may be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if things have already went array.
Really so Josiah’s father has to be responsible for his son and this young man too. He already has Emily there which I’m sure is a challenge in itself. She needs to go to her family and James and Josiah need to try and heal so they can move forward.
