@@mikewalker1573 The way he can come up with answers and lies quick, it shows his brain is working. He answers questions properly, if someone asks about a car he’ll quickly respond about a car. That shows his minds working, he can think clearly and quick while responding accurately. Is he doing this as an act or is he suffering from severe mental Illness. His father said he was fine as a kid, just defiant and didn’t want to listen. If you tell him to do something, he shuts down. That immediately tells me he probably had ODD, oppositional defiant disorder. There’s other diagnoses that typically align with ODD and are seen together but that still doesn’t completely explain his behavior. But yes to answer your question, his mind is VERY SHARP AND STRAIGHT. I’ve worked in mental health for many years, have a degree is Psychology and can confidently tell you, you don’t always see a mind that works as straight as his but also so jumbled with thoughts at the same time.

Its a very child like mentality. Ive seen children say things like this. Its almost like a desperate attempt to declare he is mature. My kindergartener will say things like, " I need to get dinner on the stove" Like whattt?!? Boy you can barely put the straw in the juice box. Please speak up. Josias' pathology didn't come from nowhere and as much as he lies, the one thing he's being honest about is his so-called father. This brought tears to my eyes…… just makes me remember when I was homeless and fell in what I thought was love 🥺♥️. People don’t understand how fast people move being in that lifestyle. It’s common for relationships to happen when you feel left alone in this world and all that matters is another person to understand how it feels to be a outcast and looked down upon from everyone. @@prisonerofhope3331 yes I was homeless around 22yrs old back and forth till 25 living in Los Angeles skid row. It was some of the toughest years of my life. I seen things I would never want to see again. It was a fast life and the only thing that helped get u through if not drugs was someone to hold at night and feel safe. I wasn’t on drugs so I looked for a family group or a relationship because I didn’t feel like anyone love or care about me. Everyone sits and judge people but don’t know how powerful mental illness is. I had major depression and was very sui€%dal Not everyone can just do things on our own……. Some people literally need someone to hold their hand and help them through things they need if they have a kind heart. I thank god I’m not in that situation anymore but I’m humble enough to know I could easily be back there if I don’t continue being productive. I pray for the ones who are forgotten or were less fortunate 🥺🙏🏼♥️

It breaks my heart to see two young people go down a hard, irreversible path (prison or death). Their families failed them miserably. I'm rooting for them both to climb out of homelessness and into a brighter future.

As an immigrant, I truly believe in opportunities available in America. When we first saw Josiah, he was voiceless, hopeless, and homeless. A few weeks later he has a girl, a car, will be relocating to Paducah to meet his future in-laws, and will be a "daddy" soon. Folks, we overcame!
