72m2 Small House Design with Loft Bedroom, Kitchen, Living Room, 2 Bathrooms | Rustic and Cozy
In this video, I will share with you the design of a 72m2 small house with a loft bedroom, kitchen, living room, and 2 bathrooms. The design is rustic and cozy, with natural materials and warm colors.
The house is divided into two floors. The ground floor houses the kitchen, living room, and one bathroom. The loft bedroom is located on the second floor.
The kitchen is small but functional. It has a stove, oven, refrigerator, and sink. The living room is spacious and inviting. It has a sofa, coffee table, and TV. The bedroom is cozy and private. It has a bed, dresser, and nightstand.
The bathroom is small but well-appointed. It has a shower, toilet, and sink.
The exterior of the house is made of wood and stone. The roof is made of shingles. The windows are large and let in plenty of natural light.
The overall design of the house is simple but elegant. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Loved this! The coatroom/laundry area/bathroom connection at the front is perfect, especially if you live in the country. You can go straight to that area to wash up, maybe rinse off a muddy dog, and THEN go into the house. Also, some people would have thought the staircase too bulky for a small house, but it's turned into a decorative/functional piece by using the lighter wood. I loved it! It's my favorite feature. The upstairs bedroom is also a gem. Overall, such a wonderful design!

This is a very beautiful place. My favorite parts are the floating shelves & especially the spiral staircase. Oh, I also really love that tub.

Interesting. I'd move the laundry machines upstairs and reduce the downstairs bath to a half-bath. That would allow a proper stairway rather than the hazardous spiral ones. The kitchen counter space is limited, and the table with flowers might be better used as a counter height work surface. The sink pressed against the fridge could be moved a couple feet to allow counter on both sides. And I'd move the exit door at least a foot to permit a full-sized refrigerator.

Why is there a full bath downstairs when there is no bedroom down there? A half bath would be sufficient and the extra shower space could be closed off and made a pantry. I didn’t see any place to hang clothes upstairs, only low cabinets. Pretty home but not for me

Hello. First of all I love love the stairs. This is a great starter home for a single person or couple. I do think a half bath on 1st floor would be better. ❤❤❤❤

I love the layout, nice area coats, jackets & shoes w/ washer and dryer, then the bathroom, the living room and love that fireplace, the kitchen, spiral staircase, upstairs bedroom w/ desk and the other bathroom with a corner tub, those blinds built inside the window love it ♥️

Nice layout only thing I would add is some kind of design on downstairs shower because someone with poor eyesight might walk into the glass doors. They were so clear.

This one has a few too many glitches for me. With space to sleep two, there is no need for a full bathroom downstairs.; half bath would do. The landing area (coat area) seems too large-valuable real estate wasted. It’s also a little strange to have the laundry facilities right inside the front door. Since the only bedroom is upstairs, it would be great to have the laundry upstairs. If it does need to stay downstairs, I think I would prefer it to on the other side of the bathroom. Great job including a real fireplace!

You don't need 2 full baths for a 1 bedroom house. I would lose the main floor bath and put the stairs there to generate some functional closet space. Where does anyone hang up clothes? Store vacuums, brooms, etc. IF the spiral staircase is eliminated, you could expand the living room a bit and gain a closet under the stairs. Possibly squeeze a 1/2 bath in the coat shelf area, by the front of the house, so any guest doesn't need to go through the bedroom, to pee.

Nice design, but too much wasted space with those stairs. Regular stairs would use space better. Only need powder room on 1st floor.

Needs bigger closet and storage space. Just a toilet downstairs and a full bath and walk in closet upstairs. The walls need way more shelves for personal belongings and BOOKS!

A lovely design outside. What I do not understand is why the front door opens into the living area rather than the laundry. That would make the perfect vestibule and would make the living room larger. The kitchen is modest at best and very poorly planned. The staircase interferes with good traffic flow if you open the downstairs shower to be part of the kitchen instead of a useless shower and needlessly large launtry/butlers' pantry. A 1 bedroom house does not need 2 full baths. It is definitely not one of better designs.

Would have to agree the full bathroom downstairs seems ridiculous with no bedroom on the 1st floor. No hanging space for the clothing upstairs would be a no for me. Angled walls/ceiling would be another no for me.

I love your floor plans, which are better than all the others I have seen. But I am always frustrated by your kitchen layouts. You have the space for a full-sized fridge in this one if you moved the kitchen door slightly, but you always show smaller fridges. Please maximize the cupboard and counter space, even if it means not using the "fashionable" but space-wasting vent hoods. Thanks
