Only a year after his debut season at Rennes, the young Ousmane made his move over to Germany and Dortmund. Almost immediately he was undisputed in the starting lineup, and ended the season with 10 goals and an astonishing 21 assists in all competitions. After that it wasn’t a surprise when Barcelona looked primarily at the teenage sensation Ousmane Dembélé when seeking to replace Neymar.
+Henrik Lehmann I really liked the first song choice. :D I also liked the clip you included of Thomas Tuchel. I didn't know he spoke English that well. ;P
His dribbling is something different and very unique and thats what we wanted to see but the injuries damn...hope he recovers well and performs this season
Me too 😢 he had a short spell injury free at Barca where he looked like he was going to be the next best thing to messi but then ...you know the story it hurts bro
I said it for Malcom, I'd say it for ousmane too...if he keeps the confidence he's gaining, maintain the pace, and stay away from injury.... His skills will do the rest!!!
Not in Barcelona. His sills will not only stay undeveloped they will actually rust away in Barcelona. In the end they will bench him, ending up an unfortunate situation for football lovers like me
Kylian Nah Ousamen dembele is crazy talent but mbappe is 'world class' level. Mbappe nomber 4 in ballon d'or(after messi ronaldo and modric). Let see dembele next season
Comparing youg messi with dembele is like compare Drake with Michael Jackson... nothing to do each other... u understand nothing about football, and btw messi's mindset was huge, dembele is a kid who will be nobody in foobal history. Dot.
what a video man!! he is such a great talent Barcelona have to keep him and valverde have to develop him and please stop comparing him with mbappe or the next messi he is just dembele and he must keep playing with his style
I remember at the beginning of the 2016/2017 season that I saw Dembele in Dortmund friendlies. I thought he was really good and had potential for a lot. He transformed into a vital asset for Dortmund in winning the Pokal and fighting for Bundelsliga and Champions League. I never thought he would transfer to Barcelona but he did. Things changed, and I hope his confidence with the ball returns to the one he had at Dortmund.
One of my fav BARÇA players 😍😍😍 he's unbelievable 🛫 but I want to see that demboz pace fake-shot speed skills not shy one 👑👑 the supercopa was the start wish him best 💙❤ one of ur best henrik 💣💣
Damn he's so good. Just need to work on his confidence and Boommm! Good things that Malcom is here as well so they both will work harder. Awesome video as always!
Every video you surprise us with a new trick. Your montage is getting bigger in a crazy way bro you’re making football look even more beautiful I’m glad we have you 🖤
of course ousmane dembele is better than mbappé, repeated injuries have slowed his progress, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about m'bappé today. mbappé is just a sprinter but the media have made all the propaganda around him, when in reality dembele is the best French football player, some current bayern player have even confirmed that dembele is by far better than mbappé.
Man what would I do for a similar video of Suarez at Liverpool 😂 Really great video mate, Dembele took a lot of responsibility at a very young age that season for such a big club
Watch as Don Ernesto Lines up Arturo Vidal on the wing ahead of Mosquito Dembele because he offers more defensive solidity and takes less risks on the wing. #MyEntrenador. fffs bro.
I disagree bro, ofc players were worn out because Ernesto didn't rotate the squad enough and prioritised the Copa Del Rey alot but the set up of the coach also gave the team the impression of DEFENDING AND PARKING THE BUS rather than controlling the match as we usually do and killing it off. Literally if we had banged in 1 goal in the first half, it would've been 5-1, big Morale killer for ROMA. but instead we line up in a RIGID 4-4-2, With Sergi Roberto on the wing to protect against Florenzi? why should we worry about Florenzi? we're Barca, they shouldve been worried about us if we played Dembele on the wing. Literally that whole match, Messi would get the ball and have 4-5 Roma players around him with no pacey outlets(Dembouz) (Suarez is bloated and can't make a run for shit)for him to pass the ball to, that made things easier for Roma as all they had to do was clamp Messi as there was no other threat for ROMA to worry about(Dembele). Which is why all our attacks went to shit and we got clapped 3-0. In conclusion, as Barca fans, lets hope for pro-active attacking football with no fear(parking the bus) this season. therefore Dembele/Malcom should play alot and we shouldn't ever resort to playing Gomes/Roberto on the wings for ''protection'' Your thoughts would be appreciated bro
Bro after signing for Barca was meant to be Lamine Yamal before Lamine yamal but barca management and his injures ruined the potential he is still doing good though but would have been a beast if not for the injuries and had someone like Hansi Flick managing him early.
Despite his injury problems, Barcelona’s play style never matched with dembele. Dortmund are a fast counter attacking team with fast strikers (aubamayeng and haaland). Their midfield plays less of a role than the one at Barca so it allows forwards more space to work with. Barcelona plays slow possession football that requires small agile players. Speedsters with questionable close possession skills and questionable passing/scoring abilities will not make it at Barca. And finally, throw in a system that heavily focuses on attacking through the center because of Messi and wingers usually end up playing the role of support and pass to Messi every time. Dembele would have been on mbappes level if he went to Liverpool or some other fast paced attacking team. I also think that his injuries wouldn’t have occurred because he wouldn’t have had to adjust to playing in tight spaces which usually cause injuries in the leg muscles of a tall and less agile player. Edit: also consider the league. La Liga is known for slow defensive football and the EPL is essentially the complete opposite of that.
