Each state and territory in Australia has its own list of occupations in demand and may nominate applicants for the 190 visa. The state or territory sponsorship is a key requirement of the 190 visa application process. The following states and territories typically offer nomination for the 190 visa: - New South Wales - Victoria - Queensland - Western Australia - South Australia - Tasmania - Australian Capital Territory - Northern Territory However, nomination is subject to availability and each state and territory has its own criteria for selection. It's important to check the individual state or territory websites for up-to-date information on their specific requirements and occupations in demand.
Maybe you should also warn your viewers that there is a severe housing shortage in Australia too. Over 100,000 homeless Australians (10,000 children) and great competition for rentals as they are in very short supply, with rents rising fast. Worst cities affected are Melbourne, Sidney, Brisbane. (Eastern states). Darwin needs Nurses (Northern Territory), but housing is tight there also. Building trades are in need of qualified individuals in all states too. Migration is a Commonwealth responsibility so the Federal Government sets the rules although the states have input in which skilled areas they need most.
Good day Chioma, so, after encountering some snags in my Canada Express entry visa as regards my occupation. I've decided to come back to AUS lol. If you can remember. I'm about to apply to TRA for my skill evaluation. I'll keep carrying o you along my journey.. you're an inspiration
Chioma thanks for the video and you’ve just gained another subscriber. Plus ofcourse I can’t help liking the video. I’m heading over to the video you pointed us to but thought it wise to first drop my note of thanks for putting these info out for free. Lived in the UK with family for 1yr and 4months now but I’ve decided to go for Australia. I will do my research and connect with you on your socials if I hang anywhere. Thanks a lot again
Hi Chioma. Your videos are so informative👍🏽👍🏽 I have a pressing question which i don't seem to find answer for. I'm a medical lab scientist from Ghana. Can i add my one year national service which is likened to NYSC in Nigeria, to my work experience?
Excellent! Thank you for this important information my Sister. Please, is there any chance for me to practise my profession as a medical laboratory scientist in Australia?
Thanks for this informative video. Please what criteria is used to decide if a state would nominate you. Would it based on your score or your occupation?
I very much appreciated and thank you for the all the information. I have a question, this might not 100% relate to the video. I did a skill assessment and have positive feedback with conforming the years of experience, do I need employment service letters in the later part of the process (example: in the EOI stage or after getting an invitation or while applying for visa....)- (assessing authority - AIQS)
I would say that it is better to have any document you think may come in handy even if it is not required eventually. You do not submit any documents during EOI, but you may need it to apply for the PR visa.
Am a master's student in uk and my spouse is here with me as well. Kindly advise me on the easiest and the best route to migrate to Australia and benefit of moving to Australia. Thanks
There is no 'easiest' or 'fastest' route. Everything comes down to which visa you meet eligibility requirements for. It is up to you to do your research on the different pathways and decide which is best for you (check out my playlists).
Hi Chioma, thank you for this informative video. I would like to know if we have to pay some fees for eligibility assessment? I did it and at the end i am asked to pay around 7.99 AUD. Is this legal or they scamers?
Hi Chioma. Can I ask for a medical doctor, when is the AMC license needed? Before lodging EOI of after receiving an invitation? Which visa can u suggest, 190?
@@lifewithchioma The issue of proof Of funds is related to the whole contract of Employment. The thing here is individual states are communicating additional requirements to what national government is saying. So If Queensland says they want 15 000 AUD as POF and one applies to QLD for State Nomination, won't Queensland then have a right to reject the EOI?
Please look at the skills list and all the requirements of your occupation if you find it there. On how to understand the skills list, please watch this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pXpTEiucqHQ.html
Hi. I got the positive results for skills assessment. I have submitted EOI. Is it important to wait for the invitation from the government or state to apply for the visa?
Thanks so much for your detailed information, pls can you handle this package on behalf of a family of four,if so what is d cost implications pls ,ur response in earnest pls
How long is the usual waiting time from the time you receive an invitation? I received my 190 invitation in March 2023 & have submitted my medicals. How much time do I still need to wait? Just so I can prepare because I’m still currently employed & so many other things to settle before migrating.. Thanks!
Check out the skilled occupation list and check with the Assessing Authority in charge of social work as an occupation. You will find the necessary criteria such as a minimum qualification of BSc in social work, IELTS Academic Exam with a minimum band score of 7 in all categories etc. You can find the link to the skilled occupation list in the description box of this video
Hello dear please I need your help I have a white lover at Australia 🇦🇺 and am in Nigeria 🇳🇬 i really need help and Information on how to migrate through her she has no much ideas about visas processing and all that
Hi chioma, I am anesthesia and resuscitation nurse I have been working in a French hospital in Lebanon since 1994. I have more than 30 years of experience in anesthesia, resuscitation and nursing... I have a job offer from a company for the elderly in Australia and they made me a work contract, but they do not know which visa to apply for. Can you tell me which visa Can we offer it? I am 62 years old, please let me know Thank you 🙏
The 482 visa is not age restricted. That might be the most suitable visa option. However, it's a temporary visa. It may be worth checking with a migration agent what other options may be suitable for permanent residency.
Hi chioma i am from Ethiopia Tell me about permanent residency invitation letter. An agent told me as he is processing to Australia with this letter. This letter contains passport number, case number, name etc. May have a way to process work visa with this letter?
You have to keep checking. The invitation rounds are not announced in advance. You will also have to find out what the chances are to be nominated at 80 points in your occupation. I don't have that information
Hi I have received 491 NSW visa application and applied for in Feb 2023. Can I still apply for 190 NSW if I get invited before 491 grant? Benefit of 491 ?
I believe it is possible but I am no expert here. I wouldn't know if the requirement to have worked for your employer for a specific length of time applies to the 190 or 189 visa.
The skilled occupation list for the 190 visa changes frequently but generally includes occupations in demand in Australia. Some of the professions that are typically considered skilled for the 190 visa include: - Accountants - Engineers - IT professionals - Healthcare workers (such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists) - Tradespeople (such as electricians and plumbers) - Teachers To be eligible for the 190 visa, applicants must meet certain requirements, including: - Having a relevant occupation on the skilled occupation list - Obtaining a positive skills assessment for the nominated occupation - Scoring a minimum of 65 points on the points test - Being under the age of 45 - Meeting English language proficiency requirements - Meeting health and character requirements - Being nominated by a state or territory government in Australia.
Hi Chioma! I am hoping you have a good day today. I am a family business owner/manager, with 4 years experience. The company focuses on construction and construction materials retail. I have a BSc in International Relations. I work on customer service and maintaining quality of service. I’ve looked into the SOL, but not sure which is sought for for my kind of job. Most likely customer service manager? Is it probable to get the 190 visa then?
You will have to check the assessing requirements from the assessing authority of whatever occupation you nominate. That's the only way to know if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Hi I am software tester living in india with 2 years experience, has done masters and age is 26, never visited Australia or studied from it ,am I eligible for any visa
