The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) is permanent resident visa. For this visa, you apply to a State in Australia for nomination. If a State nominates (selects) you, you’re in! You’ll need to satisfy the basic requirements for the 190 visa that are set by the immigration department, and nomination requirements set by the State that you want to apply to. Every State is independent and has their own rules around what occupations are eligible, what state specific requirements you must fulfil, how to apply and when you can apply. It’s can be confusing, but we’ll be working on videos for all the states so don’t leave without subscribing! We’ve already done Victoria - link below.
