1930 Ford Model A pickup -Off the road since 1986! -PART 4: Almost ready for the road 

When people talk about how simple Model A's are, they are not referring to the starting procedure! 😄 Thanks for the videos!

I was watching all the videos and thinking about how many people we could take off the roads if we went back to a model A. No pun intended guys! I just like the model A and would love to have one some day. And thinking more about it, there is about a thousand feet of wire twenty sensors and a computer that does all that stuff for you now. And don't forget a diagnostic port to plug into to tell you what's wrong with it. My things have changed!

Sitting here writing comments on old videos is not too productive! You guys are learning rapidly - like the caption I just saw...Shut up and Try It Again! A lot can be learned by trying it again - and then thinking about what you did differently as you go along. Click and Clack - the Tappit Brothers - once did a segment to determine if two guys who didn't know what they were talking about could know even less than one guy who didn't know what he was talking about. In their case they showed it was possible! You three are definitely going the other way, learning as you go. A little hammer tap on that starter would have made me happier ... the bendix spring was not strong enough to overcome that stiff lube without a bit of persuasion. Did that on one of my A's after 34 years resting, still have plans to swap in another starter so I can properly lube and rebuild the starter ten years later, although that one tap ten years ago seems to have been enough. Bought this A when I was 14...exactly 60 years ago. Keep up the good work.

The good and the bad of all manual controls , Automatic choke and timing changed the world of automotive ease of driving , With this vintage You had to be aware of all a engines quarks .On the other hand You never need to worry about someone trying to drive off with it , only another collector would know how

my grandpa's A had a milk bottle under the radiator overflow tube to catch the coolant... one bad experience with the neighbors dog put that bottle there lmao.

You are doing everything wrong. There are plenty of A instructions on You Tube channels with how to do instructions . You need more education on the Model"A".

Ragtime was well out of style by 1930.
