A very cool little chess set!

Nice, I like these unboxing videos. American Staunton from Royal Chess Mall is a set I would like to get someday. The knight from that set looks lovely, the other pieces are great too. Not sure why RCM named it like that, the usual name for that set is Haunting from what I saw. Do you own any thematic chess sets perhaps? Like the Royal Dog set, Lord of the Rings, etc.?

I have the 3.5 inch version from Staunton Castle. There is some debate in the chess set collecting world of the origins of the set along with the name. I think that the Chess Bazaar folding cardboard chess board is a bit too pricey. The thing with cardboard boards is they break apart over time. Then you are left with torn quadrants of a board that will ruin game play. My personal thoughts are buy a bi-fold pvc board that is much cheaper and will last longer. Plastic over time lasts longer than paper. Technically the squares are 55mm and not 57mm. 57mm equals 2.25 inches. So 55mm is just shy of 2.25 inches.

Bought the board, nice size at 19 X 19 inches unfolded. Looks nice and warm in KY 😊

I have the 3" CB set for an analysis set in the same color as yours. And after seeing your review of the 3-1/2" HoS set, I had to get that too! It is a cool design that the short and squat Knubbel pieces make, it is so different from the "standard" design.

I wanted ask, where do you get these large wooden chess (unfoldable) chess boards? Those you used to show in older videos. Thanks in advance

I like the design of those pieces. Very unique. The price stings for a cheap punk like me, tho.

I wouldn't want kids using such an expensive set, that's asking for trouble. I very strongly recommend a silicone set for kids, it's virtually indestructible and looks and feels quite nice.
