Looks great! I want to do the interior almost just like this one, in my dad's car I inherited. I've got the same gauges, but still have to put the dash together and upholster the interior.
I watched your dad's video of the car running many, many times while I was building mine. It was a source of inspiration for me. Sorry to hear about your loss and good luck with the car.
Where can I get a blue garter belt and that jfk political pin in the window john Milner aka paul le matt had one in his window too in AG I cant find one anywhere because if I'm going to build this car it's going to be exact.
when you spend that much time,to build a rod,why on earth would you want to sell it,no there are some things that don't have a price I have JOHN MILNERS auto manual, the address in the back of it says California, who knows
Way 2 Kool. Luv the build, you & your buds did an excellent job. We(Kendra- granddaughter 6yrs old, Thing 5 yrs old- my dog & myself-Anthony ABN Nam Vet) have a 33, 3 window, 350 eng & trany, had 3 duce setup changed to Q F efi sys, & lots of goodies like you, we happened to luck up on for a project we could do to stay busy/+ fun after an auto accident paralyzed her. Would luv to hook up w/you to exchange ideas/info camaraderie etc. Again really B_ _ _ _ ing rod U have & U R right. What 2 do next.is a never ending story. OH BOY, WHAT FUN WE HAVE 2 HAVE 🙃
too much sexual enticement. Leave it for the bedroom. That goes for car network shows too. Makes it look like "girls gone wild ". Hot rods are hot rods. No need for cheap sensationalism
My dad has a real replica trim is wrong side pipes are wrong it does not have a chopped roof. But still looks cool interior is also wrong on this car my grandpa built my fathers car can’t tell the difference if you look at the movie car and my fathers car
As I said before, It is Not an exact replica. That being said, The roof is chopped 3 inches, The 1956 Crown Victoria interior trim is the same as the movie car, the rear view mirror is exact. I realize the Headers are different and the polished trim around the windshield and headlights is not the same as the movie car. These are my personal touches on my car. This is not an exact replica! I would love to see some pictures of your Dad's car. I never get tired of looking at 32 Fords.
Windshield frame is wrong its supposed to be yellow firewall is wrong its not supposed to be black between the stainless and the yellow and johns car didnt have a rear bumper if you gonna copy something at least get it right! I could name more wrong with the car but the list would be too long
Automatic 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 teach your wife to drive a stick! One of the best parts of the movie he gives away the shifter knob! Haven't you seen the movie ?? Automatic might as well make it electric too!
Help alert! Had one of these in the 80s an when i got divorced my husband kept it. I lived n thompson oh in 1990 when this happened. Its been 32 years and ive been trying to find it ever since. Sold to a guy n Ashland whom i hears was racingit Most likely totalled. Im offering cash reward to anyone can find its wearabouts. His laast name was brooks.I live n mentor oh now and would give my eye teeth for it back. Had a 327 with 5 speed. Tombstone taillights. Chopped top. Fenders on back only. Might have had engine replaced Help please!
Thanks for the advise. Can't please everyone. I BUILT the car because I love the movie and the time it represents for me. I don't think anyone is gonna mistake me for Milner. Most people appreciate that I took the time to recreate the overall look and feel of the car. I've had an absolute blast at shows and cruising around with it. If your a Die Hard Graffiti fan, then I'm sorry it doesn't meet your expectations.
So let me get this right, the car show is held to raise money for the Boys Scouts Explorer Post. So why would you have a "Tart" with her boobs half exposed doing an interview? Come on people! This car is NOTHING like the original movie car!
Not even close..tilt wheel..chevy 350 verses 327, wrong manifold, chinese guages...automatic tranny... coil shocks...100 percent wrong and worth 6500 max.
@@andyjones9386 Thanks Andy, I am proud to own it. Can't please everyone. Wasn't trying to. The car has brought me more joy that I could've imagined. Had a blast building it as well.
