G’day Kerry thanks for the comment mate. The 1955 is a pretty rare tractor, I’ve only seen a 6 or so out here. The 80s and 90s seem to pop up a bit, they must’ve sold a few of them in Australia.

It’s a beautiful noise Matty, I love the way it just bops along all day. The Dubbo show was great, lots of good variety, there was plenty more that I didn’t get photos of. I might do another video just on the show. The Dodge was a ripper, only 46,000 miles on it from new, and with the original family until a few days ago.

It’s a ripper old truck mate. The bonnet was a out of shape and the rear latches wouldn’t hold but once it rode for half an hour they pulled into shape a bit and I was able to fix those catches and remove the strap. I ended up putting a small strap through the cab and around the back, so it rode well in the end with no damage.

@@oldrigsdownunder7301 looked like that show is getting more gear also. There are a lot more getting on the road that I certainly haven’t seen. Some great restos

There were some great rigs there son, trucks and tractors. I wish I took some more photos. I’m toying with the idea of putting a slide show together for a quick video

Thanks David, I don’t know my Dodges, the previous owner thought it was a 38 but that was before his time.

It could well be a 36 mate, I was only going off what the original owner told me. His father picked it up in 1938 or 39, but it could’ve been sitting around for a year or so before then.

It was a beautiful old Dodge Jeff, the new owner reckons he will try and get it running in the next couple of weeks. With a running engine and some new tyres, you could go for a drive in it. The old 1955 will get a bit of work done on it soon mate, that was a cry out for help I reckon 😂 It was a great show, lots of space there and a great variety of equipment.
