Good day I am from Ont. Dad had super W-6 Yes back in middle 60's he bought Oliver baler. Boy no live power, buggar to get out of gear. We bought IH pull type swather it worked good , had canvas to shoot swath out back, it laid so nice & high, did not fall down on ground like self=propel did. Yes dad's W-6 was main tractor for yrs. Anyways Thanks for story
@donvoll2580 This tractor has been a constant on our farm since 1941. It’s nice to be able to share it with a few people on here. Thanks for your note!
I originally found your channel looking for solid advice for a ford ranger axle. The mustang isn't all that different haha. You have soon interesting stuff here. I'd love to see a good tractor like this in person.
Dad’s doesn’t come out that much any more but there are old time tractor pulls around Alberta all summer where you can see restored classic tractors in action. Old time tractor pulls are held and popular throughout most of North America, especially in states and provinces with an agricultural heritage so if you are interested I encourage you to look for some in your area. My Dad has a collection of classic tractors but we think this particular one has some real historical significance on top of the sentimental significance. I passed your comments on to him as he enjoys hearing from people who are interested in his tractor. Thanks for watching!
@@tecmotiondyno I live in southeast Florida. You'd think we'd have stuff around here to do more. The average good event is probably 4-7 hours north of me in the top end of the state. It's weird how you can live around so many people, and still be somewhat remote to certain things still.
I'm guessing that Southern Florida is a bad place to live if you are an old time tractor pull enthusiast! Alberta is kind of a rough place to be if you like warm weather though!
