☆☆☆ 75 years of the Unimog. Power for a purpose. ☆☆☆
This year, the 🚛 Unimog 🚛 is celebrating its 75th anniversary. We are taking this as an opportunity for a little journey through time. Let's take a look into the past of the famous all-rounder. Chapter 1: the development of the Unimog in the 1950s. In 1946, three engineers laid the foundations for the "UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät" 🧐 💡(Universally applicable motorised machine - short: Unimog). After approximately 600 Unimog of the series 70200 had been produced, each of them proudly presenting the ox head emblem, the production capacity of the Boehringer brothers were no longer sufficient. Driven by an increasing demand, the serial production was taken over by Daimler-Benz in Gaggenau in 1951. 📍🗺️
